Makes older content look better due to upscaling. I finally got the TV that I was hoping for in a manageable size. So far I have been able to pick up the interface very quickly. I am not thrilled with the Magic Remote but I am learning how to use it better each day. It just takes a little practice.

It actually is capable of displaying a flawless 120hz 4k signal, unlike some competitors. Darker environments like night skies are especially stunning, and I've had a few giddy moments where the lighting was just so *perfect* I could have sworn what I was looking at was real. Just... don't connect it to the internet. The current user experience of webOS is, in a word, garbage. The front and center of the home screen is a "Trending" (ugh) section showing you an unavoidable list of random junk Hollywood wants you to buy for $20 today. Your actual installed streaming services and HDMI inputs have a distant second place on the bottom of the screen. The entire user interface design philosophy centers around the idea of you being a bag of money that dollars can be beaten out of first, and your enjoyment of the experience a distant third. You will not even be safe if you try to use this mainly as a display for a game console or PC, as the TV will cheerfully pop up notifications from the bottom of the screen about whatever streaming service just got added to the TV's app store or whatever promotion is running every time you turn the TV on. There is no way to turn these notifications off. I asked customer support, several times actually. (Politely. Really.) They'll "get back to me" in "a few business days". I guess everyone has been out of the office for a few weeks.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this TV mainly for gaming, And the 1st thing I notice is is very dark even when playing with the settings, HDR is very decent which is what I like but it's also my main complaint, You see you need to rely on HDR to get decent brightness, games and movies with lots of dark areas are nearly impossible to watch even if you play around with the settings... Non HDR content does not look very good at all, Maybe if the TV was a lot cheaper it would be easier to ignore these flaws...
