    My 8 year old Samsung that I am replacing blows this out of the water, and the $350 Vizio I bought a few months back is actually VERY comparable to this TV. Also, while my Samsung soundbar works with my Samsung, Vizio, and even an old Toshiba I tried it on after troubleshooting to see if it was defective, it does NOT work with this TV. The bar does, but not the subwoofer. Have tried both optical and hdmi, but nope. This is not a bad TV, but most definitely NOT a $1300 TV. I will be returning this tomorrow and either going back to a comparable Samsung, or trying the Sony.

    The image quality is great. Same goes for the sound. However, tv kept shutting down on its own which appears to be a known bug. I combed through LG FAQs, tried all the suggestions that applied to my model but nothing fix the issue. I ended up returning the tv and purchased a different brand.
