After all the amazing reviews online I really wanted to like this TV... but i dont. Let me first say that I do not use this TV for gaming. I have other TVs that I use for my 4k Xbox X. I am a software engineer and am very particular but skilled with lots of excellent audiophile gear. I use this TV mostly for streaming 4k movies and some are older content. However my other TVs upscale the picture nearly perfectly with little effort. But this TV I have to fight to get it to look like I want. Ridiculous for this much money. I much prefer high-end Samsung and Sony TVs over this - much better pictures out of the box. I contemplated returning it but it's already mounted to my wall and I've had it for 30 days to keep trying to dial in a good picture. Be warned if you're using this for movies in your bedroom you have to really dial in the settings and each type of content and requires different settings for each to optimize the picture. I tried weeks with different settings that I found to optimize it online and it's still is nowhere near my other 3 TVs in picture quality. Never buying an LG again. Save yourself the hassle and by yourself a high end Samsung or sony.

LG C2 OLED: The Gold Standard for Gaming and Entertainment Displays The LG C2 OLED is not just a television—it’s a benchmark for what modern displays should aspire to be. With its stunning picture quality, lightning-fast responsiveness, and gamer-centric features, the C2 solidifies its position as the ultimate choice for anyone seeking the pinnacle of home entertainment and gaming performance. Picture Perfect: OLED at Its Best LG has long been a leader in OLED technology, and the C2 continues this tradition with breathtaking visuals. The self-lit pixels deliver perfect blacks, vibrant colors, and an infinite contrast ratio, creating a level of depth and realism unmatched by LED or QLED alternatives. Whether you’re watching a 4K HDR film like Dune or exploring the open world of The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom, the C2’s picture quality is mesmerizing. LG’s Alpha 9 Gen 5 AI processor optimizes visuals in real time, ensuring lifelike detail and smooth motion, even during the most action-packed scenes. A Gamer’s Dream Display For gamers, the LG C2 is nothing short of revolutionary. With support for HDMI 2.1 across all four ports, the TV delivers 4K resolution at 120Hz, making it the perfect companion for next-gen consoles like the PS5 and Xbox Series X. Add in support for Variable Refresh Rate (VRR), NVIDIA G-SYNC, and AMD FreeSync Premium, and you’ve got a display that eliminates screen tearing and stuttering for an ultra-smooth experience. The ultra-low input lag (around 5ms) and a 120Hz refresh rate make it ideal for competitive gaming, where every millisecond counts. LG’s Game Optimizer menu is another thoughtful touch, allowing you to tweak settings like VRR and HDR without leaving your game. A Slim, Stylish Design The C2 isn’t just a performance beast—it’s a design marvel. Its ultra-thin profile and nearly bezel-free screen make it a stunning centerpiece for any room. The lightweight build also makes wall-mounting or repositioning effortless, and LG’s new composite materials make the C2 more durable while reducing its weight compared to its predecessor, the C1. WebOS: Smarter Than Ever LG’s WebOS platform is intuitive and packed with features. Navigation is smooth, and the Magic Remote’s point-and-click functionality makes finding content easy. The platform supports all major streaming apps, and built-in voice assistants (Google Assistant and Alexa) ensure hands-free control. For gamers, the C2’s dedicated gaming dashboard integrates seamlessly with platforms like GeForce NOW, making it a versatile hub for gaming beyond consoles. HDR Mastery The LG C2 supports Dolby Vision IQ and HDR10, ensuring HDR content looks as intended, regardless of the lighting in your room. The brightness boost over previous OLED models ensures daytime viewing is just as impressive as a dimly lit gaming session. Is It Worth It? At a premium price point, the LG C2 OLED is undoubtedly an investment. But for what it offers—peerless picture quality, advanced gaming features, and an elegant design—it’s worth every penny. It’s not just a TV; it’s a future-proofed centerpiece for gaming, movies, and streaming. Verdict The LG C2 OLED is a masterpiece of modern display technology. Whether you’re a cinephile, a competitive gamer, or someone who just appreciates the finer things in life, the C2 delivers an unparalleled experience. It’s not only the best OLED TV on the market—it’s one of the best TVs, period. Rating: 5/5

I was a longtime plasma lover with their deep blacks and little motion blur and when we redid our space and wanted to mount the TV to the brick wall we have, didn't want to trust the bricks to 75lbs of TV. Got a good deal on the OLED C2 TV which has amazing reviews - always had my eye on these OLED LG's and finally bit the bullet. The 48" is perfect if you have to sit close in your space. The picture with 4K is insane!!! and No blur! I did have to play around with the picture settings for sports to look more natural - unfortunately regular HD like football doesn't look as good. So if you are really into NFL maybe look at a regular LED TV. Other thing is the sound was way better than I hoped and don't even feel the need for a sound bar. I don't really like the remote though, and it seems like if you use a Roku there is no way to have it start right up at the Roku instead of the LG home screen which is annoying.

This is a great tv, the contrast is nearly perfect. HDR whether in HDR10 or Dolby Vision looks fantastic! This set doesn't get as bright at the 'G' series, but in a dark room, it doesn't really have to. The pixel refresh is super fast which makes this set great for gaming. The sound from the built in speakers is pretty decent as well. I think this TV uses the speakers from the C1 line, as the lows are present and not muddy. The mids are a bit lacking, but the overall audio experience is respectable for onboard speakers. Having used both this and the 55" C2, there isn't a big difference in picture quality. The 55" only gets marginally brighter, though for highlight detail, it can help having that little extra. The sound on the 48" is better than the 55" though. The 55" doesn't have any bass to speak of, although voices are clear and distinct without being harsh. Overall, this is a great TV. Also a great Monitor if you have the desk space for it. Once you get used to the extra screen space, it's hard to go back.

I upgraded our TV from a 2014 LG 1080 LCD model to this and the jump in image quality is insane! I do have another 4K TV and the HDR on the LG C2 is better. As an added bonus i was suprised at the improved reception this TV gets from our antenna, this may be an under the radar feature for some. I also appriciate the picture mode autoswitching feature.

This TV is incredible, perfect blacks, great colors, low pixel response time, 120hz with vrr and gsync. I have constantly said “wow that looks incredible” playing content on this tv. The interface isn’t the best and not everyone will love the “wii mote” style magic remote, but never too annoying especially if you grab an Apple TV, Roku, etc. to use that interface. The speakers are surprisingly good for tv speakers. A decent soundbar or speaker setup will obviously be better, but dialogue is clear and it gets pretty loud without distortion. Not cheap, but worth every penny.

From Odyssey G9 to LG C2

Before I bought this display, I read a lot of things that people dislike about the C2 instead recommending people to get the C1 and I will address those here. As a TV this thing is fantastic and would make a great personal sized one for any who are looking for an amazing experience. However I am using this as a monitor for my computer, it sits on my desk generally I have a distance of 2 feet to 3 feet distance at any given time. Firstly, the special form of image smoothing which essentially inserts a black screen between each frame. I haven't personally experienced a C1 however a buddy of mine is getting a C1 panel so we can compare. That being said the image is smooth, I haven't been experiencing blur, I came from a Samsung Odyssey G9 and it is noticeably better in all aspects even though the C2 only has 120HZ. I will add more onto this once I've seen a C1 and C2 side by side but so far with Gsync on this thing is a dream and the image quality and contrast alone are enough that I think even if I had noticed the drop from 240hz I wouldn't care. Next I want to actually address the resolution. Another common complainy I had was the ability to see individual pixels. I'm known for my eye site and can say for certain at my 2-3ft distance on the 48inch, I don't notice any individual pixels. That being said text can look funky at times but not all the time. I find it best on a black background but I work with this and so far I'm in love, my eye strain is so much less since the display is naturally dimmer. Grays being grainy. I have actually seen this as an issue but not on my panel and I believe it was fixed with some tuning on the colors etc. For a fixable issue however I don't really see this as a problem your experience may vary however. Overall Impressions: You want a fast response monitor, with a gorgeous picture and enough screen estate to get immersed like you would an Ultrawide? Look no further. The other beautiful thing about this is that the OLED technology actually allows you to turn this into an Ultrawide by simply changing the aspect ratio. It'll generate the black bars and it's about as wide as my G9 so it felt right at home. having that ability means you get the best of both worlds. This display isn't perfect but it has my vote for your next monitor.

Not quite how it looks in the store but then again no tv ever does. Maybe I just need to tweak the settings? It looks gorgeous and the colors are really nice, but the whole "removing google assistant" thing is what brought it down a star. Now, I have a useless button on my remote, ans less features than I paid for. If I update I lose amazon assistant too, so I'd lose even more features. Another gripe I have is that the "enter" botton is on a scroll wheel so it's super easy to click the wrong thing. Very poor design choice. Other than that the picture and audio quality are really good and I really like theb tv outside of LG's scummy practices.

I bought this TV to replace a Sony 900F LED TV so I could play on my PS5 with the better refresh rate. This is a huge upgrade from an LED. I could tell immediately when watching movies and playing video games. The colors are incredible and the difference is noticeable. The sound on the TV is really good as well, even if you don't have it set up to a surround sound system. Setup with one person was a bit cumbersome, but can be done (I was able to do it by myself). The settings on the TV were easy to navigate.

I'm honestly not a fan of LG's LCD panel models because they build them to last long and not to display image quality. Their OLED products however are second to none. I felt like when shopping TV's I had to negotiate with manufacturers for next gen game system compatibility. It would have one feature like 120 hertz but not HDMI 2.1. or it wouldn't have enough HDMI ports or only two of the ports did 120 hertz and one port did HDMI 2.1. Luckily LG built this bad boy for gamers. All four ports are HDMI 2.1 at 120 hertz. The colors are rich and deep and things thing sucks less power than my Sony Bravia LCD in the other room. This is also LG's second generation to the C1 model and so they've been able to make improvements to this model over the C1. LG doesn't play around when it comes to supporting the product either. There are software updates every other week for this thing just to make sure that the user gets the most stability out of every feature. I love that this TV will adjust the picture for you to a movie or a game. If your game system supports variable refresh rate so does this TV. If you like Dolby Atmos you got it. There isn't anything bad I can say about this TV. I had tried a couple of TV's but this one blew the others out of the water. Be careful when setting this up. You need TWO PEOPLE to set it in place. It's heavy but not much heavier than an LCD.

Great picture and the 120hz refresh rate makes everything look better. Gaming on it is also really nice, it doesn't require a high demand to run graphics at 4k at 120hz so I play anything with no issues.
