Customers consistently note the exceptional picture quality, vibrant colors, and deep blacks of the LG OLED TV, making it a top choice for home entertainment enthusiasts and gamers alike. They also appreciate the easy setup, great sound, and competitive price point. However, some users have expressed concerns about the unfamiliar pointer feature on the remote control and the TV's higher cost compared to other models.

I'm normally a Sony Bravia guy but the sale price was too good to ignore. The picture is amazing. (gorgeous color, contrast, detail) and after checking online for recommended settings, it's the best TV we've had for movies and streaming. Even the Best Buy TotalTech guy who set it up was surprised by the picture quality when we turned it on. We have a typical NYC apartment so the 48 is perfect. It is immersive without the screen dominating the space. We have a large window in the living room but the LG seems plenty bright especially since we normally watch TV in the evening. I could see putting blinds halfway down on a bright day but it's not really an issue for us. If your space has windows everywhere a QLED is probably the way to go. Our setup has both Apple TV 4K and a Bose Television Speaker, The TV recognized both automatically they are a great combo with the C2. Make sure to enable eARC in settings if your soundbar is compatible since it's turned off by default. At first it was confusing navigating menus but wrapped my head around it quickly. Menus pop up quickly and it's a fine user experience. If you hate the soap opera effect, the cinema and filmmaker presets are the way to go and you can tweak to your liking. Really like the remote and how it naturally it switches from the screen pointer to click wheel based on your motions and works universally with other devices. Definitely explore the buttons, they make it easy to see programming, switch between devices, find the picture mode ect. I didn't set up an LG account since I have an Apple TV but all the smart functions you need like updates are available. In short it's the best TV we've ever had, we love the image quality and design. We couldn't be happier.

OLED is nice, and I won't bore you with all of the great things about this tv. I will only add that that it is not a slouch in a room with more then average light. I use mines for streaming and gaming, and I am very happy I grabbed this instead of one of the equally priced computer monitors. I would just say that my next one would have to be at least 65 inches.

I took time to view and examine everything this set had to offer. I loved my plasma TV back in 2009-2015, but it got burn-in and I was no longer willing to deal with the power draw. So I bought a Samsung QLED [nano]. (AVOID THESE like the plague - they're prone to the LED filter coming unglued on the sides inside the set and leaking TONS of light). The Samsung lasted until 2023...then died with an option of a $2,000 repair. So, not buying another! I did my research and bought the LG C2. The blacks are PERFECT! The colors pop! The set is FAST bringing up menus, and the HDMI 2.1 is - I have to say - one of the most bug-free implementations I've found to date on an electronic device! The sound? Well, it doesn't have as many speakers as my Samsung, but it STILL did better than I was expecting. Dolby Vision on the set is flawless, HDR10+ is fantastic too! The remote? Well, what can I say? I hate multi-function remotes, but I mostly use the AppleTV 4k Gen2's remote and don't watch video using anything other than content on my AppleTV since our cable provider has an app and so does Disney+, HBO, Discovery+, etc, so I don't need the LG remote. Overall? Glad I bought it! Even gladder of the sale price! Thanks LG!

Quite pleased with this TV purchase. Waited several months before I reviewed it. Last year I purchased the LG 55” Class C1 series OLED for the great room. This year we got the 48” Class C2 series OLED. I have been very pleased with last year’s purchase of the C1. The sales rep from Best Buy said the C2 was brighter. He was right. And when it’s brighter there’s more contrast. And that’s what I think is the best thing about the OLED series. I do personalize my picture settings to maximize the contrast too. And this TV allows you to do that. I adjust nearly all the advanced settings (ie backlight, contrast, brightness, color, hue, tint, etc). I will say that I have old eyes and need all the help they can get. I also have a cell phone with OLED (apple). If you want a TV with a sharp picture, I would highly recommend this brand and model.

I bought this to use as my main PC monitor. Yes, it is a bit large, but personally I love it. Latency is low. 120hz at 4k is great. The HDR is pretty good, but the screen isn't the brightest. I've owned it for 7 months now and use my PC often and I see no signs of burn in. I do have some of the safety features on to prevent burn in, and I try not to leave it on a static screen for too long. I love gaming on an OLED. Works great with my PS5 as well. Only thing that could be better would be if it got a little brighter. But honestly at $1000 this is bigger and better than many PC monitors even well above that price. On top of it being a smart tv. I mainly play games on it, but whenever I do watch things on it it's great. I am very happy with the purchase. There is a 42" model if 48" is too big. I considered it, but am happy I went with 48 as it was only $100 more at the time.

Convenient SMART technology with apps for services we all use like YouTube & Disney+ but also has a decent selection from the LG Channels. Connects with your equipment nicely but it's HDMI ONLY so no more component cables for older VCR/DVD/BlueRay machines. Great quality from a Panasonic TV that had no issues other than being old & needing to upgrade. Base is important because the little feet option does not fit most stands people already have in the house, this large center is more ideal to distribute the weight in my opinion. Also sits in a corner so sound get amplified nicely.

Just from unboxing this thing I knew it would be good. The image quality is amazing. It plays gaming consoles great in that 120 refresh rate. I did get it on sale during Black Friday so at full retail price maybe might not be worth it, but it is a really solid bedroom TV.

Superb picture quality and surprisingly excellent built in speakers. Absolutely perfect size for our bedroom! Wall mounting was a breeze and the side mounted connectors make connecting cabling fairly easy. The UI is snappy, built in apps load lightning quick, and the WiFi is a massive improvement over older models like my 65” B8. The only thing i don’t like is that they removed the dedicated play/pause buttons from the remote and this remote can no longer seamlessly operate a bluray player like the remote of my B8 OLED could — instead you have to use the (…) button and navigate an onscreen remote, which is really clunky. Why LG did this is anybody’s guess. Fortunately, it seems to be the only real drawback to an otherwise superb TV.

I've had my TV for well over a year now and love it. Four HDMI 2.1 inputs is fantastic for my game consoles. The picture is great. The sound is fine once you tinker with the options. Too much smart TV stuff that I don't use, but that's not the end of the world. My only two real complaints are that the remote control stinks (CNET's review said the same thing and I was dubious but it is awkward to use, amazingly) and it has some syncing problems with my Xbox Series X. Nothing fatal but there's clearly some sort of issue there that's never been resolved. Other than that I love this TV and will definitely consider an LG as my first choice for its replacement whenever it needs replacing.

Initially I was going to buy the smaller 42” LG, but I am so glad I went with the larger 48” LG even if it was just going in the bedroom. How I ever managed to watch anything on those tiny 19 inch tube TV’s from my childhood, I’ll never know! Sure we did it, but going larger is just so nice. Built in speakers on the 48” LG C2 are acceptable if using in a small bedroom. It sounds louder and better (mostly) if I keep the AI Sound setting turned on. That said… these speakers will distort if turned up too loud. So if used in a larger room or living room you’ll absolutely need a soundbar. But in my bedroom I’m quite happy even without one and I don’t plan to add a sound bar. Picture quality of OLED type displays is great for a bedroom because it maintains image and brightness even when viewing off angle. I have the TV mounted on a wall where most viewing is from the bed, but there is a chair in the room that I’ll occasionally sit it which is off angle even with the TV pulled out a bit from the wall. But the picture still looks great with OLED technology. One quirk: Someone else had mentioned that they needed to switch TV picture modes (i.e. - Cinema, Standard, Vivid, etc) in order to optimize the picture. And it might be somewhat true. In my setup I find that the “Cinema Home” mode (which defaults to a “warm” color temp) is good for 95% of what I’m watching. However, there is a cartoon called “Apple & Onion” from Cartoon Network/Hulu that I’ve been watching and this is in the 5% exception. The colors for “Apple & Onion” are much better if switched to the “Standard” picture mode, which I think defaults to “cool” color temps. In “Cinema Home” mode the Onion character’s green color, for instance, takes on a slightly darker/duller almost more olive-green type of green. But in “standard” his green is brighter and more colorful. Not that you can’t still watch it in Cinema Home mode, but it’s not as good. Anyway… thought I’d mention it since I haven’t noticed this color difference issue on the Samsung QN90A that I keep in the living room. Speaking of the living room and my Samsung QN90A, which uses mini-LED, I’ll last point out that if your room has an extreme amount of sunlight coming in from windows, then an OLED might not be best for you. I’m not sure. It might still work. But it might be worth also looking at a TV that can get brighter. My QN90A can get brighter than my LG OLED and with the QN90A’s mini-LED it still looks much better than a typical VA or IPS panel with regards to black colors. That said… I like the OLED of the LG slightly more than the mini-LED of my Samsung.

This is THE tv to buy for gaming ! It's one thing to see the demo loop in your local store, but to have it in your home actually on and tunning... that's a new experience . The picture quality is just as good, if not better, than many of the online reviews get it. Perfect black, full range of color, the AI Sound feature was another surprise. I watched the World Cup semifinal on the Verizon 4K channel, and it felt like I was in Qatar in person . When you connect your gaming system during the inital setup, the tv WILL know what it is and in the case of a PS5, all you have to do is select whichever HDMI input you have it in to launch it. And you will see, hear amd feel much faster gameplay, especially on a FPS like Call of Duty. FIFA 23 almost feels like a real FIFA match !

One of the best things me and my husband purchased. The colors on this tv leave you speechless. The only down side is this tv will ruin other tv’s for you! I didn’t understand why my husband made such a big deal about getting this tv until we got it. You’ll never wanna go to a theater again because you have breath taking images at home., the red, the blues, the yellows, they are so vivid and beautiful! Anime on this tv is literally amazing! even the speakers leave you in aww! We almost didn’t wanna use our surround sound because the speakers on the tv were enough. This was definitely the best purchase we have made this year!

This is the second LG OLED I have bought ( I have the 65” version in my theater area ), I will eventually replace my other Samsung QLED with these. The picture quality is amazing and the sound is very good right out of the box. Some people dont like the remote because of the pointer on the screen, but as soon as you click the arrow button it goes away and you can use it like a normal remote. App support is 100%, I would never buy a Sony for that reason, and I will never buy another Samsung, the TV turns itself on when I turn it off, and the picture on the QLED is much more dull than this OLED, highly recommended!

I will start by saying the first one we got was open-box, and we ended up returning it because there were circular shapes burned into the screen that did not go away despite troubleshooting methods. We later learned that it had been the demo model used in the store. We decided not to let that one negative experience change our opinion of the TV (especially considering the the overwhelmingly positive reviews this TV has), so we exchanged it for a brand new one. It has only been a couple weeks, but it is great so far! The picture quality is stunning. Easy to set up.

It has been three weeks since I bought this TV and I completely love it. I bought this for both viewing TV and to use as a PC gaming monitor and has done both jobs superbly. Before purchasing I had watched several review and set-up videos. the TVs that were reviewed were larger and had some minor differences but were insignificant, One difference that I was glad to find, was that the TV stand only has two pieces to put together rather than three. The user interface has been very easy to use and figure out how to change things as needed. The TV has both wireless and wired internet connectivity which I was happy to see that I could have one less device fighting for wireless bandwidth. The TV has all of the apps I use already installed or available except for DIRECTV Stream. I have Fire TV Cube attached to the TV and have found that I prefer watching most things including Prime through the TV apps. I also have an antenna hooked up to this TV. i was able to get more over the air channels than with my previous TV. I live in an area that is very hard to get steady reception so I do loss signal sometimes, but the TV does not deprogram the channels when this happens unlike my previous TV. I also liked the fact that I could remove broadcast channels that I would not watch from the guide. The TV appears to be ATSC 3.0 compatible but I can't confirm this since it is not yet active in my area. The remote control itself is the one thing I am not completely happy with. The reason for this is that it does not have dedicated Play/Pause, Fast Forward, and Rewind buttons. I truly believe this TV is the best of all worlds at the moment, It is a great TV, a Great gaming monitor, and it does thsi at a reasonable price.

I had this tv for several months and did my research on this model for gaming and movies to watch. I wanted a best color life feel quality like Panasonic Plasma was king for its purest blacks and rich colors put LCD tvs to shame. This LG C2 model brought all my expectations to match and so happy with this tv. Plan to have this tv for years to come and don't have to buy new tv after cheap two year old LCD LED tv break. Good job LG and love the brand for years!
