Great tv, bought on sale with the open box. Only issue is that the open box version had been sandwiched inbetween foam causing the screen to have a mark on it

    LG warranty not good

I bought one of these at Best Buy in November 2023. It's still under warranty and has less than 10 hours of use. I used it for a couple hours when I first brought it home. It was bought to use with a PS5. I haven't played the PS5 until this last weekend since my PC is far better. It worked well for several hours on Sunday. Monday evening, it worked for a few more hours then the sound began to be garbled. A few minutes later, the TV flashed a vertical white bar in the center and shut off. When trying to turn it back on, it flashed the white stripe and clicks back off. LG agreed it's still under warranty but will not replace it. They want to repair it but there's no repair centers anywhere near me and it's now Friday with no call back. Every time I contact them they say they will call when they find a repair center. In short, their warranty isn't very good. By the way, Best Buy does not allow reviews to be changed. So a good 5 star review can not be updated after you discover product problems.

    Trash LG oled TV ever

I dont recommend getting this tv because when you watch blue-ray movies and newer shows all you see are dots all over the screen and cant see the shows. The best buy worker is aware of this issue and other people are complaining about it to but best buy still continues to sell them. So technically your paying 1000 bucks for dots also the tv overheats badly so lg is a scam and its trash i would recommend going for a sony oled or samsung oled. This tv been on sale sense black friday because there trash

    Won't stay turned off.

Day one and the TV will not stay turned off. I've unplugged all inputs, yet it will turn itself back on whenever it pleases. It seems as if other reviewers of the 48" model have had similar issues. Not a great feeling when the TV you've been excited to receive is ~broken~ immediately. If not figured out by tomorrow I will be returning. Comment with any comparable (specs and price) TVs in comments, pls!

Thank you for your open and honest review. We see that you're reporting that your LG TV won't shut off. If the Sleep Timer feature is causing the TV to turn on by itself, check the settings and make sure they're set correctly. If it’s not set correctly or is malfunctioning, try resetting it or turning it off altogether. If this does not help the issue, we'd suggest doing a factory reset on the unit. Please contact us directly if you require additional service at 800-243-0000. ~Tanisha LG

    Beware of Dead Pixels

    Posted .

I have an LGCX 55” that I’ve owned a little over three years. I have multiple dead pixels on my screen, and I reached out to LG with no success. The warranty was only good for one year, so I’m up the creek without a paddle. Beware that the manufacture warranty, and some extended warranties only cover a repair, if you have a certain amount of dead pixels.
