Crisp picture with good brightness and great refresh rate. Great for watching shows, sports and even for some games.

Love our new TV. Great color and sound. We are using it as a smart TV and the apps for streaming services. LG has a very nice interface and all of our streaming services had apps except for PBS. Our only complaint is the remote - there is no mute button. You have to turn down the volume and the turn it back up again.

48" OLED Evo c5 - Replaced my 16 y. o. 47" LG LED TV. This new TV is really nice. Beautiful picture. Sound is much better than my previous TV. I needed something with a center mount (vs. legs), this one works perfectly. The remote takes some getting used to but works well. Hoping I get many good years out of this set like I got from my previous one.

I replaced a C1 with this C5. While the differences are subtle. Picture is definitely brighter and clearer. The setup allows you to make picture adjustments that make it stunning.
The remote is a BIG disappointment. I hate commercials and want to mute them. In order to mute the sound you have to hold the sound button down for 2 seconds. Which also reduces the sound level to zero. When the show comes back on, you have to push the sound button up to get the sound back and play with it to get to the level you want. BRING BACK THE MUTE BUTTON!
Also I have not figure out the HDMI input, that used to be a button on the remote.
There are some quirks that are annoying. Like when it sees a change to the Universal remote (Apple TV) it pops up a window to input a code to accept the changes. Sometimes code window does not come up.
As a Technician, I look at this as to how much aggravation it might cause to someone not that technical. My advice if you are not on the technical side is to have a Best Buy tech set everything up so you are good to go. I highly recommend this TV!

Setup was easy and everything worked perfect out of the box. The video is excellent and easy to set up. The only issue I had, but not related to the LG C5, was not getting the eArc output to go from HDMI eArc input to my soundbar. I solved that issue with updating my HDMI cable from an older one to a new HDMI 2.1 cable.
We are very happy with the TV so far.

I use this TV as my main monitor for gaming. I thought the 48 was going to be too big. Turns out I was missing out on the immersion. TV has been great so far. Had it for a month or so. Only thing I don't like about it so far is that I have to hit the home button and back to switch inputs.. pretty annoying. Remote function could be much better. 5 stars for the TV. 2 stars for the remote

I use the 48in c5 as a bedroom tv. The OLED screen is so clear and when I occasionally game it is perfect. With the high contrast and fast refresh rate. Its the TV to beat.

I thought I was purchasing the same size as my previous TV and was somewhat disappointed but I was happy with the quality and features of the purchase. It was also easier to set up and connect to my devices

Attaching the stand was pretty easy. Swing was the TV was very easy. The TV works beautifully. Adding more apps and rearranging them is also very easy.

I purchased the 65" version of this TV and bought this 48" version for my bedroom. Excellent picture and great sound. Easy to set up. Great television. No regrets.

The good: Clear picture. Bright display. Very responsive UI.
The bad: The remotes mouse/pointer feature still needs some tweaking, it could be because of where I have the TV mounted vs where I am using the remote.
Overall a good TV with nice features. I do wish the remote lit up when picked up.

excellent picture. but the remote is bad design. missing input buttons. Also the tv volume sometimes goes out and you have to unplug it to get the sound back again.

I previously purchased the Samsung Neo QLED 4K TV 50-Inch QN90D and returned it after a large section of pixels went white and Samsung wanted to repair it rather than replace at 2 weeks after purchase. I opted to return instead. This was in the samd price range for 48” vs 50” on the samsung, so i figured i would give it a try and the picture quality is just delicious. It works with dolby vision with my atv and everything is just so crisp and beautiful. I havent been this happy about a tv purchase since i got my first one in 2001 and watched the matrix every night on vhs for months.
