The first and also the best 4K I bought at BB at the lowest price. I am certain that anyone has owned LG Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV will share the same opinion. Picture, sound, size , weight and price are at the top quality . Many other top TV brand names cannot beat this one.

So I researched the LG uh5530 vs this tv. Same specs, less energy consumption, this tv was BLACK not silver as it says. 2016 model, and no Black Friday lines. Yeah this is 49 inch and not 50 but seriously, a 2016 model over the Black Friday 2015 model any day.
Played PS4 and xb1 on it and .. wow it is redicilously clear. Bought amazon hdmi2.0 for when I use PS4 pro (8$ for 2)
Replaced my 2008 LG 47LED that had at least 8000 hours of view time with no issues. Hopefully this can last that long. OH and it was a LGUH60xx. Silver one was?? Don't know, don't care, wanted black anyway.
9/10... so far..

When it comes to HDTV's, we have been Team Samsung for many years. Bought this LG on sale at Best Buy on Black Friday and this set surpassed all our expectations. Image is crystal clear and the features and apps that came with it are extremely convenient!

Great 4K tv at great Black Friday prices!!! It's not Silver, bezel is Black. The video is super sharp, I have this paired with my Amazon Fire tv which outputs 4K content. Playstation Vue tv service looks great, as it upscales 1080P to near 4K. Sound quality is loud and excellent, I don't think I will need a sound bar for this tv. Smart tv features are excellent and easy to navigate. I watched some 4K videos from youtube, it just amazing how sharp and clear the video is. I am very happy with this tv as it replace my LG 32" tv that I had for many years.

This is holiday model of the TV which LG released during thanksgiving 2016. Both LG and Best Buy say that there no difference in spec of this model and 49UH6100. But i have faced issues with this tv. White bright patches appeared on the TV 1 week after i purchased it. I got it replaced and the exchanged tv which was exactly same model was defective as well. I exchaged it again, this one again same model has picture flickering at times. This made me conclude that this model of LG is sub standard one. And not to mention, LG customer support is as terrible as it can get. They commit but they won't execute. They have tie up with local service engineers who are nowhere within there control and they do what they want without caring about what customer needs.

Until cable or satellite can provide 4K, what's the point? Xfinity's DVR boxes freeze up on the 1080i setting on the tv. LG's phone support was beyond rude and hung up on us because it was getting to that cut off time.
That was fun!
The directions in the box literally are FOUR SCREWS TWO LEGS GO HERE and that's it. Doesn't tell you how to use the million buttons on the remote. They text you a youtube video that may or may not match up to your model, and it didn't answer any of our questions that we called tech support for. Took forever to get the software to update (kept timing out and resetting).
Two hours later we eventually got it done and went to bed.
Honestly, I can't tell the difference in picture from this one and our old one.

I ordered this TV as a Black Friday deal for $399.99, for in-store pick up. after a few weeks it arrived to the store a day late, which is understandable due to it being the holidays. When I got home to set it up, i found that the TV was completely shattered. I took it back to the store the next day, and the store i picked it up from offered me a "comparable TV'. Nothing the store offered me was comparable, to the manage i dealt with, comparable was what ever was cheapest, not what was of the same quality and type (i was offered an Westinghouse and an open box 43" sony non 4k tv). After 2 hours of dealing with a manager that practically accused me of being the one to break the TV, and refused to work with me at all on finding an actual comparable TV, I left and got a refund. I left feeling attacked by a manager that wouldn't listen, which has now left a sour taste in my mouth towards this company.

I just set this TV up yesterday night. It was working great until this morning. A vertical line appeared about 1/3 in from the left side. I will be exchanging it for another of the same model.

I was on a mission to find a 46-50in 4K TV with a 120hz panel for $400. Not only does this TV have those features, but it's also a smart TV with built in apps, and has HDR.
At the time I purchased this TV, they didn't even have it displayed in the store; I found the TV on the Best Buy website, and they happened to have 9 of them sitting in the back. I was very close to purchasing a similar sized and priced Vizio or Toshiba set, but both of those had chromecast apps (needed to cast apps from your phone to the TV, not true built in apps), and neither had HDR. This LG set has everything I was looking for; I was blown away with all the features this set had for the price.
I've had the TV for 5 days now, and it's been great. The apps work well, picture quality is great, speakers sound good enough. As of now I haven't been able to test HDR on it yet, though I'm eager to in the next few days.
As of November 2016, I can't imagine finding a better TV for $400.

I own a LG OLED 55 INCH C6P. Hands down the best tv on the market. Maybe the new Sony Oled can compete but it's still LG's oled technology Sony is using. Well anyways i wanted a tv for my room so i knew the joys my oled has brought me so i knew Lg was the way to go. This tv's picture is as good as you are going to get without oled technology. The 4k is superb and even though it doesn't advertise it has HDR Pro technology as well. So that's a def plus. The smart features are so easy to use and set up if anyone was to have any problems with it then they need some HELP LOL... For the price and features the Tv has LG You have outdid yourselves again...

What a tv for the money! Just purchased s Panasonic based on reviews, was difficult to set up and just overall disappointing. Stopped working altogether in two weeks and customer service at Panasonic tried telling me it was out of warranty and wanted 9.99 just to talk to me. Returned and purchased this for less. Set up was easy. Sound is great. Apps are much better and super easy for the whole family to use. Just can't get over how good even old dvds look on it. Great tv for any price.

Picked this up for Black Friday. What a great deal. Was looking for a 4K tv that wouldn't break the bank yet still had great picture. This did not disappoint. Extremely easy to set up. Picture is great. Almost no motion blur and the colors really stand out. I would highly recommend this for general tv watching and playing video games.

My boyfriend recently bought this as an upgrade from a smaller polaroid tv. The size, refresh rate, and pixel quality were very important to him as he is super big into gaming. Especially compred to his old tv, this one has a much clearer picture. It almost feels like you can look deeper into the game worlds and see high detail instead of just blurry pixels. With the recent xbox one x announcement, he's super excited to see that the tv will be even more compatible with gaming and live up to more of its potential (many of his current xbox one and xbox 360 games are no designed for the higher quality and look the same on this tv as his old one). My only complaint is that the refresh rate seemed really slow in the beginning but sped up the more we've used it. Overall, this tv is excellent. My boyfriend's only complaint is that he couldn't get it in a bigger size.

I've had this television for about a month. I upgraded my cable service to HD to get the most out of it. I used to think that my eyesight was not good enough to see a noticeable difference. I was wrong.
I would prefer it to have one more HDMI jack because I have the three available filled and I may sometimes have need to use another.
My other minor issue is the navigation to use the features. It isn't as user friendly and intuitively obvious as I would have liked. However, part of the problem is I now have too many remotes (TV, cable box, smart BluRay player, and Fire Stick). I am using a ethernet switch to hook both the BluRay player and the television to the Internet rather than use wi-fi with both.
Overall, we are very pleased with this unit and if it lasts several years, we'll continue to be happy.

Bought this for size and price. Great picture, and love the smart functions. Works great on Internet Web searching and vudu, netflix and Hulu. No lag in refresh rate on action or sports. I would recomend it.
