This is a great 4K tv, we ended up returning it for a 55inch because it was a little too small for us. But overall great crystal clear picture and great price.

TV is great ... very easy to install and setup ... picture is amazing. The controls are very intuitive. Only downside is that it is WiFi only ... cannot connect ethernet cable.

This was a smoking detail. Great picture, easy to hook up and operate. The casting function is not great, but I have an Apple TV, so it is not that big a deal.

First of all the room is extra large, 30' X45',I'm in an oceanfront condo, on 3 sides,glass ceiling to floor, and face the east,north and west. I have a fold-up screen that I use in the morning when the sun is coming in the east side. The floors are all tile (picture Miami Vice)-my only issue is the sound-which could be due to the room size and the tiled floor, This morning (its 7 am)very foggy- picture is gorgeous. I'm not a techie so I can;t address those issues, late 70's and my hearing is a little off so maybe a soundbar??Who can tell me how to hook one up

Bought this TV on sale for $ 428.00. Nice resolution and good sound. The smart function of the TV is very simple to use and navigate. I am satisfied with my purchase

Have purchased many products from LG and have never been let down, this 49UH6030 4K HDTV is no exception. Black Friday pricing was at a reasonable level, probably would not pay more during another time. SetUp and configuration was easy, pictures look great, user manual is built-in so no paper manuals to store. Works well with my SlingTV account and connecting to a Logitech Harmony 700 universal remote control was painless. Best Buy store associates were not helpful, nothing new, so definitely glad I did all necessary product research prior to the purchase. Deducting one star from BestBuy, not the LG product.

Picture color and quality is very good. Blacks could be deeper but overall picture is fine. Also it was very easy to set up right out of the box.

a great purchase and highly recommend this product, nice picture quality , specially 4K videos. I tried LG 43 smart tv before this and I can see so much of difference. Sound quality is amazing. I've JBL flip 3 and from the time I've bought this tv, I don't use that to play songs, instead use this TV for it's great sound. You can add a home theatre if you wish but really need much of need. I bought this with $200 discount from bestbuy and I think that price is unbeatable by any of the competitors

easy to mount. Nice picture. But it has no digital input. To hook up my amplifier i had to steal the optical cable from my daughter's TV.

Researched many 4K TV's and decided on this LG as it had the best features for price and reviews favoured it over Vizio's. Appreciated that LG features their own OS and you can use the Smart TV features without needing to slave it to a device like the Chromecast feature does on the Vizio's. My only negative is that there is not a non-digital/non-optical audio output. I have to replace my soundbar to further project the sound. The sound itself is pretty good from this TV so not a big deal. Overall, a great TV for the price.

The 4k is great. The apps are seamless and easy to access. Menu has a lot of options to protection your vision as well.

This TV has a great picture. Easy to use remote gives you everything you need on the screen to navigate the menus.

LG - 49" Class (48.5" Diag.) - LED - 2160p - Smart - 4K Ultra HD TV - Black Pros: Comes VERY well packaged... Arrived with a triangle shaped gouge in the front and center of the box about the size of a fist, most likely from a box smashing into it during transit, so I was immediately concerned it would have damage but the TV was so well packaged that everything was in perfect condition. 4k video looks fantastic, 1080p is equally flawless, and even streaming 720p videos and movies from you tube look incredible thanks to the upscaling feature integrated with the TV. Deep rich colors, powerful built in speakers that provide crystal clear sound, accessory inputs galore including multiple HDMI, USB, coaxial, Ethernet port and many more! The "Smart" portion of this TV is well designed, intuitive and easy to navigate. Cons: If there is a con, it's the remote... Using the arrow/navigation buttons to "type" things into search boxes for streaming video providers and web searches is tediously annoying and routinely results in my hitting one of the surrounding buttons that undoes whatever I've managed to type, forcing me to start over. LG really should incorporate some kind of mini keyboard into the remote, doing so would dramatically improve the overall experience. Other Thoughts: The features and quality of the TV create a value that far exceeds the price, especially when it's on sale! Loved the first one so much, I purchased a second one as a wedding gift for my sister when she announced her engagement. They were super excited when it first arrived and sent me pics of them setting it up and thanking me profusely for the gift. It's now been about a month and they recently sent me a pic of them with the new TV in the background and a very simple text message: "<3 this TV!"

Wonderful pictures and ease of navigating and it great to get on Netflix at the same place and not use a BluRay
