We bought this for our bedroom. The TV is beautiful, very nice colors, good amount of ports. Built in webOS (use to be a big fan on the pre phones) is not really that webOS, but the apps are good for easy access to netflix, amazon, etc. the remote is basic, but gets the job done. love this tv, great value for the price as well

I am very happy with this 4K, perfect size for my bedroom. Picture is awesome wether I am watching movies or playing my xbox.

The pictures are great and the TV is easy to set up.

I was debating in buying the black model or this one, which is a few bucks more expensive, but I decided to get the silver model. When I opened it it does not silver it's more like a charcoal almost black color. I was happy it looks great! I'm not into games or sport so I can give you my opinion on the resolution of that.

You will be thrilled with this LG 49" Smart 4K TV. Ask it to change your channel. Record your favorite shows. Get Great pics with itsUltra HD and wonderful color. Great buy without breaking the bank too! Best Buy had it on sale when I bought it, so I really saved alot. Looks great on wall mount in any room.

Bought this tv a little over 6 months ago, and I wanted to be sure on the review before posting, all I have to say is... AMAZING! Has every little function I needed. The screen dims/turns off when I’m in bed, and the volume sounds great. Haven’t had any issues. And the remote is super easy to use.

I bought this TV as a replacement for a similar Samsung 50" TV I purchased through Best Buy internet (horrible experience). That TV was highly rated but had a cracked screen! I did not review this one on CNET as I typically do. The salesman in the store showed me this as a low cost ($499.00) alternative for the Samsung. He said it was one of their best sellers as entry level 4K. I believe this is a 2016 model. The picture is very good with true color and nice motion. I am using it on the wall in our garage/rec room, so not one we watch all the time. I have watched some sports on it and it is more than just "entry level." I did review on CNET after bringing it home and mounting it. The reviews are very good. The LG OS is a bit funky, but I like the "old school" remote. I believe you would find this to be a very good buy at the price. The 49" size is ideal for our garage/rec room where we hang out during parties, family events, play pool, etc. I would recommend for any room that is not your primary TV watching spot (rec room, bedroom, guest room, etc.).

Bought this TV for my home office...this is the second LG TV I have purchased. I am 100% satisfied with the quality of the product...picture quality and sound quality are very good. The first TV shipped to me was damaged and Best Buy was awesome in getting me a replacement...I couldn't be more satisfied.

Tv is great for the price but there are a couple hiccups. 1) ransoms freezes then restarts and 2) when you turn on the tv or switch channels, there is a lag. Eternal the picture and sound. You see the picture but the sound doesn't come on until about 3-5 seconds later. It's not unbearable but annoying.

Read reviews. So far no problems besides not being able to keep cable remote programmed for volume. Ordered online but received with a broken screen. Easy return and replacement in store. Better than what I had

I was looking for a medium large tv for outside on our deck. the salesman was extremely helpful and guided me to this TV. works great and now we spend our evenings outside on the deck and can watch all of our regular shows. Like having a drivein theater on our porch.

We have this TV in our bedroom. It is easy to use. My only concern is that the device is totally dependent on the remote control so it doesn't have a power button. If the remote control were to break, malfunction or get lost we wouldn't be able to turn the TV on.

I read a lot of reviews that said the remote was difficult, I didn't understand how confusing a remote could be until I got this one. Spent 30 minutes trying to figure out how to change the input/source. Tv is a good buy, didn't notice any difference between my old and the new 4k ultra.

Great TV. No problems. Easy to set up right out of the box. It even has an internal antenna to catch digital tv stations. We hooked up our play station 4 to it and streamed play station Vue on it with ease. Having games to play on the screen was a nice bonus.

I purchased this TV for my guest bedroom as the price was only $399.00, however it works beautifully and it's new technology made me completely content with my purchase and now I will lay in the guest bedroom watching TV. That's how nice it is....
