This is my second LG television and I like it almost as much as my other one. It takes a little getting use to LED vs my plasma but other than that picture quality is excellent and the price was fantastic for 49 inches. I was setting out for a $400 TV and was about to settle for around a 40 inch one till I say this on an end-cap display. I felt sure I couldn't go wrong with an LG and it was larger than what I thought I would get for that price. The only down side is that its my first "smart" TV and doesn't really offer what I thought a smart TV would...but maybe no smart TV does. I was expecting browsers and internet access but so far it seems to only offer limited App's like you find through a PS4. It does have your common Netflix, Hulu, and such so it works for what I needed as a bedroom TV.

Easy to set up and use - great picture. Sound quality isn't great but we have an external system. Great Black Friday buy!

The color on this tv is great. The screen goes completely to the edge. The sound has a good range.

Had to return the first one, smart TV wasn't very smart....but the one we exchanged it for is excellent! Same TV just functions as expected, great picture and sound is more powerful than our living room 60" Viera ! It is our bedroom TV and we love it, some didn't like no browser, no matter to me, plenty of apps, just gotta get familiar with the remote. I would give it 5 stars but we haven't had it long enough. It was a very good deal and has been as Good as expected.

There were so many TV brands and options to choose from, and many for less money. We have always been a fan of the LG products including the TVs. We purchased this as a gift for our daughter and family, and they are so pleased with the picture quality. As a side note I do recommend adding a sound bar, because like most TVs the built in speakers are fine for regular TV watching but not really sufficient for movies.

If you are looking for a basic 50ish inch 1080p tv, this is a respectable set and a good value at $300.

Love this inexpensive, high quality TV. Likely the price for an equivalent TV has come down substantially by now. We were looking for a good quality and reliable TV for our bedroom, which had to be quite large. This worked out great. LG has surprised me in their quality as I've always been a loyal Sony customer. This works as well, and is about $200 less on average.
