I bought this television to replace an older Samsung 40" LED I had for my bedroom. I was very excited about this purchase because I have 3 other LG televisions in my home, one being a 65" OLED. Once I got the product, I set it up and noticed that there was excessive light bleeding coming from the bottom and top (As seen in the pictures attached). I thought I might have received a defective unit so I exchanged it at the Best Buy store. After setting up the exchanged unit I noticed that the bleeding was worse than the first one. I called LG and setup a appointment to check the television out because I liked the brand and wanted to keep the unit. After a technician came and checked it out he said that this was normal on this unit because it is top and bottom lighted and he couldn't do anything about it.This had me puzzled because the same unit displayed at the store did not show any bleeding. I am for the first time disappointed with LG. I bought this televisions because it was a good price for the size. I did give the television 2 stars because even with this flaw in hardware, the colors on the television look good.

I like the picture and sound. I have playing this TV everyday and SMART features work well. I use this TV with a ROKU as well but you don't need the ROKU. I am glad that I decided on the LG because the price was very good. I have been buying SAMSUNG for years but after I visited the store I saw the picture on the LG and liked it.

First and foremost this is an excellent 4K tv! I'm using it for DIRECTV, Netflix, and my PS4 Pro. A lot of people online say you can't really tell a difference between HD and QHD (4K) but dang, it's super noticeable! Especially with text on the PS4. The HDR on the tv is awesome as well. It also has a "mock" hdr tv mode for when hdr isn't supported by your device... I use it when watching DIRECTV, and find it increases the color quality, especially for sports. The software on the tv is fluid as well! I really enjoy the quick switch input feature. If I'm watching tv and turn on my PS4, a box will pop up notifying me it has an new active input and I can hit okay and it will switch right over. The Netflix app is better than it was on my FireStick too... so I can at least vouge for the Netflix app My only complaint is that the tv occasionally restarts without warning. I don't know if this is a bug, as I bought this as an open box, or just the tv updating. I haven't looked for a setting for this either, and it really hasn't hurt my experience in the slightest... until it gets me killed in Battlefield.

Great picture. Great sound (although I have upgraded to a sound bar and now it's an incredible experience). It's easy to navigate. I watch YouTube, Netflix, and Amazon video mostly and the picture is awesome. My Blu-ray looks amazing as well. I can't comment on video games as I don't play. I would highly recommend this TV.

We have not used the "smart" portion of the television yet. The LG LED 2160p has the best picture--very clear--and the best color on a television that I have ever seen. With the shows we watch, it seems as if the people are right in the room with us. I recommend this product.

I am very happy with this purchase. I will enjoy this TV for a very long time. The picture is great as well as the sound. I wanted a sound bar but it is definitely not needed. It has all the smart apps I need and then some. With this tv cable is not necessary.

After moving we bought this TV for our living room. We're not huge movies or sports fans so we bought this largely based on the price for the features, size, and in store quality. We have no regrets and would highly recommend this to others!

Great picture and price. Limited apps and simple remote. Could benefit from a higher refresh rate. Have seen some blurring during action.

Great tv for the price. The picture is very clear and the color temp is almost perfect. The wifi connectivity is also pretty good and never drops and runs apps seamlessly

I wasn't looking to break the bank. This TV had the features I was looking for and at an affordable price. Great picture and easy to set up. Had a 40 inch SONY and wanted something a little bigger for my living room.

My husband and I have been dragging our feet on purchasing a smart TV. This one was affordable and the picture is really unbelievable. Set up was a breeze and I would recommend it for anyone looking to upgrade.

This tv was on sale before Thanksgiving. I was in the market for a new tv and wanted a new model that could fit on my existing tv stand. This tv has great picture and sound quality and is a great size as well

The definition and color are great on this tv. As an older adult with vision issues it is a real pleasure to be able to read subtitles,scrolls,banners, etc. again and not need to walk up to the set to do so.

This television exceeds my requirements and is the perfect size for the area I chose to place... Picture is very clear and I am very pleased with all aspects and controls are easy to use and understand...

This LG 2160 pixels shows a 4k quality picture it came with Sling and YouTube apps and many more easy to use remote quick set up this LG has amazing picture quality and sound

Very happy with my LG. Very good picture quality for the money. The only things I would improve on is the remote control seems hard to operate, but maybe that's just me, and the speakers are just average. I have a sound bar and that isn't an issue.Neither of these things would be bad enough for me not to recommend this TV .

We purchased this television after speaking with a Best Buy salesperson in the store. We are so pleased with the picture quality and the great price. The set up instructions wereeasy to follow.

Got this TV around Christmas time and it has lived up to expectations. Was looking for a 4K smart TV that wouldn't break the bank and this one fits the bill. Great picture and lots of apps built in.

The LG 49 is an excellent product. Intuitive to install and flawless when paired with a matching LG sound bar and subwoofer. The sale price wasn't bad either. Good day when I bought this set.

We use this as a gaming tv in our house. Colors are bright and vibrant and the sound is adequate. The interface is a little clunky at times but gets the job done. All in all for the price it's not a bad choice for a good 4K tv.
