Factory brightness/backlight setting can be fixed.

Only one weird thing about this TV that doesn't show up until you're sitting in your underwear at midnight on the sofa, the brightness and backlight settings are too bright. This TV actually turns OFF the LED backlight behind the LCD when it knows the picture signal is black. But, when the backlight is on, you need to calibrate the brightness to turn down the grey. It's a solid TV. Its just as happy not connected to the internet (only dumb people connect their TVs directly to the internet.) Since Apple doesn't sell my personal data from my Apple TV, I'm happy until LG OLEDs get cheaper than a week in Europe.
