I took a chance on this LG tv. I’ve been a Sony user for years but the picture (at my Best Buy store) on this LG model made me gamble and purchase it. I’ve had this for 4 months now and I’m more than satisfied. Sound is satisfactory; not the best; satisfactory. Picture quality is excellent. LG has a winner here.

Picture quality and smart TV features are great. Only problem is that the remote selects features by creating a marker on the screen and it never goes where I am pointing. Always seems to be to the left or right of where I want it to be, and when I click on an item it selects the one below what I am pointing at.

So for so good. Great picture. Easy to operate and setup.

I've had this LG TV for about a month and am very satisfied with it. The picture and sound are great. Setup was easy. I like the smart TV features that allow my to view content over the internet and see my own photos on a large 49 inch screen.

The best picture quality ever! It’s seriously like watching something that looks like you can touch whatever is on the screen! The wifi functionality that pairs your headphones to the is great for when the kids go to bed and I can watch tv without waking anyone up.

Great offering from LG in a slick package. The brushed titanium metal back cover is the selling point of this edge-lit model. If you can afford a slightly higher profile and a couple hundred more dollars however, get the SK9000 and you get full array local dimming and HDMI 2.0!

I purchased this for my husband. He has been very pleased.. it seems to be a great choice in televisions for watching sports. The quality of the picture is excellent The best Buy employee who sold it to us was very informative helpful professional and knowledgable. We are very pleased with our purchase

Looked at several tvs for our dining room and this was perfect size and price. Excellent picture quality. I was surprised on the black levels and contrast. Not as good as my OLED but pretty close. Off angle viewing is great. This is my 3rd LG and satisfied with them all and WEBOS works great.

Presley at best buy was very friendly and helpful,discovered additional features setting it up at home,custom surround sound,does not need a sound bar.it has voice setup assist that sounds like she is on crack lol,but was helpful.this tv has additional built in channels..picture is great

The picture is excellent and the smart capabilities are better than what I have had on my other TVs. Sound is substandard and I have it in a small room, but this is pretty typical for these thin TVs. On some shows the backlighting is a little substandard, but this has only shown up during a hand full of shows.

I bought this TV after my previous LG television had its backlight go out. This is my first 4k TV, and I'd be hard pressed to tell you the difference in picture quality between 4k and HD, but that may be because I haven't invested in a 4k Blu Ray player yet. I love the SmartOS LG employs, along with other bells and whistles like the ThinkQ AI and Alexa and Google Smart Assistant compatibility. It comes with a Magic Remote which, a week after I bought the TV, flaked out on me and stopped working, and I ended up having to completely reboot the television to get it working again. Otherwise, I've got no complaints. It's a very good TV and I would recommend it, especially for gaming as the response rate is phenomenal.

Bought this set to upgrade to 4K from a 48” Samsung HD, looking for another Samsung (my 5th), but the rep recommended this set as more advanced for the same price. Glad I took his advice. Beautiful and simple to set up and operate.

The picture on this television is stunning. It looks like the tv characters are in my room.

The Tv is great. Universal remotes works with the LG sound bar , fire fox and Apple TV does everything. Great sound and pic. JUST REMEMBER , IF YOU THING YOU WANT A LARGER SCREEN, GO AHEAD AND GET THE 55''. wISH i HAD.

I am a 56 yr old woman. It was a little difficult to understand how to attach the stand . I am pretty handy but the instructions were worse than Ikea. You tube video helped. I called log to set up the picture as there were no instructions. It’s a nice for tv for the money.

I have 2 Samsung TVs. The more recently purchased Samsung is in this price range and has great picture but a slow responding remote when accessing the menu or Smart hub. In selecting a new TV for my sister, I thought we'd try an LG based on price, reviews and no complaints of slow remote! When at the store, another customer was in the process of buying this same TV. He highly recommended it so I figured it'll be a solid purchase. We got it home up a flight of stairs and set it up without issue (I'm talking 2 older ladies here). TV is light, easy to screw on stand and connect to DirecTV box. Then disappointment. Picture was dark and I'm not a fan of the "soap opera" effect. After playing around with picture settings, I ended up turning off the Energy Saving feature so I could adjust/increase the backlight and turned off TruMotion. Made other color, sharpness and contrast adjustments. Love the TV now!

The picture quality is stunning (once tweaked to your liking). The LG operating system is very responsive and easy to use. The TV sits on an attractive stand. The sound is very good if you don't have home theatre. Very impressive product for the cost.

We have found this TV to have an excellent picture and sound. Set up was fairly easy with a quick call to Best Buy folks who were very helpful. It's got all the "bells and whistles" but we probably won't get around to using all of them....but they are there if needed.
