This is a great television for an unbeatable price at Bestbuy! A lot of people get the 50 inch version(50UM7300) but interestingly LG builds this 49 inch version with an IPS Panel and 50 inch with a TN Panel which isn’t that great. And the fact that the 49UM7300 sales for 50$ cheaper than the 50 inch and has an IPS panel makes it a great deal. The quality of the panel is remarkable as the colors pop out of the screen! Great app selection and features, solid build quality. Note that in the UM7300 serious all screen sizes except for the 50 inch come with an IPS panel so choose this 49 inch over the 50 inch version!

This picture is amazing! Great sound (even though a sound bar will improve it) love the smart remote. And a separate button for Netflix. LG never made a bad product.

3 HDMI Ports; Component/Composite Ports
2 USB Ports

I bought a Samsung Smart tv 6 months ago. The picture was great but the software was outdated. I learned that it would not update beyond what it has, so could not use it for Disney+, Hulu, and would soon not be able to update Prime without buying a fire stick. So I bought this tv on a whim. Love it! Great picture quality, LG has slot more apps than Samsung. It comes preset to include “Alexa” if you want to, but the LG remote that came with it, is also able to be programmed to be voice controlled. It inputs the information from your cable provider so that channels, schedules, etc are all broadcast to the screen without having to use a seller are remote. The tv and software are dated 2019, so should be good to go for several years as far as updates. It was lightweight enough that I could carry it myself and a breeze to set up! I bought it thinking it would be ok, but am pleasantly surprised that it is great! Couldn’t be happier with my purchase.

I was doing research on the best TV to get for my budget and space, and this one caught my eye. It has a small enough bezel to justify a larger screen. There is a 50 inch version as well. The 50 inch version uses a VA panel, while this 49 inch uses an IPS. IPS will give you more versatility than a VA, at the sacrifice of black levels and color. However, the picture quality is crisp and the colors are still vivid, with many different modes for adjusting it. I see no issues in the room I put the TV in. Even gaming isn't an issue with the IPS panel.
I really like the customization of the Home menu and placing the apps where you want or need them. There's also no need to sign into another account just to download apps for the TV like other companies will likely do. When launching an app, it fires up instantly with no delay.
It takes some time to get used to the remote. Since it's Bluetooth and not infrared, you can point it anywhere and it will respond well. The "mouse" portion can be annoying though and there is no way to turn that off. I also wish I could program the Netflix and Amazon buttons to launch apps I do use more often. I did like that the remote can stand up on its end, and was light in the hand.
Overall, this was a great find. I feel like this TV will last me a long time. It's a good one to go with for those who don't want cheap quality no-name builds but are on a budget for getting into 4K or even future proofing for future 4K content.

I purchased this TV to replace an older, but functioning Samsung TV . Smart 4K UHD TV's are pretty much the staple or standard these days and there a lot of options out there, it just depends on how much you want to spend and what will break the bank.
Due to space constraints, we elected to get this 49 inch TV for a living area. The Price was fantastic ($299.99 During the Holidays). My other TV (In a different room) is a 65 inch Smart 4K Ultra HD TV that cost 5 times as much.
Adjusting to the LG TV's Interface took awhile to understand, but I got used to it since every manufacturer is a bit different in that department. The only reason I didn't give it 5 Stars is that compared to other TV's, it is a bit "Dark." The clarity is wonderful, but even after tinkering with the TV multiple times, I cannot seem to bring up the brightness level (The Vivid option is too Vivid). I did notice that depending on the source material, it does get a bit brighter, my only real complaint.

Great TV, Awesome picture with great features. Hope this lasts as long as my other LG has. Bought this for a spare room went with 3 other brands that did not perform as well as they claimed.
This one does all built in assistant, airplay that actually worked unlike others that claimed it did. Ok sound, great picture and good signal strength and a actual remote that works (magic remote) you do not have to utilize you phone for everything like other tv's want you to do.

This is the best TV I've owned so far! One thing I didn't realize before purchasing it was that the remote acts like a Wiimote, which makes navigation faster! It also has a responsive voice search button, a neat scrolling wheel, and others as well. The UI is also really fast, quicker than any other TV I've had. It also has some nice settings, and even Bluetooth for your headphones or earbuds, which is a plus! The range isn't too large, but if you're in the room, it should be fine. Picture settings are great too, seemingly one for every situation. As I am a gamer, I use the Game mode (already in most TV's nowadays anyways) a lot, and it was great too; the input lag is practically non-existent. Setting up this TV with Google Assistant is also pretty easy as well.
There's only like one problem I have encountered thus far with the TV, though. For one, songs on Spotify were muted, and only worked after I factory-reset the TV, which was annoying. Other than that, this is well worth it, especially for its low price!

This TV is just has everything we need. I bought it Nov 2019 and since then working fine with no issues at all. The picture is really great with crystal clear even if watch it from side. The 49" does not make any difference really compare to 52" at least for me when we look at the Price. The Remote is smart too along with the Cursor and wheel which makes easy to navigate on anything. Voice also works nicely; be it Alexa or Google. LG has done a good job with AI and other features in this series. Also it gives many free TV channels so no need to subscribe or buy until or unless you really want to see many movies etc.
I would definitely Recommend this TV.

I love how this TV looks. The remote has some very interesting and useful features that I never thought to want. It has a voice function for opening apps on the TV. It also has a pointer feature that you can point the remote at the TV and select options on screen instead of clicking through each option using the left right up and down functions. TV has been working great for the cost. My one complaint is the available apps. It has most of the common streaming apps, it does not have Movies Anywhere or HBO GO

Honestly this LG is one of the best TV's I've ever owned, it works great, has a beautiful picture and it's easy to use. My one and only complaint is not being able to access the HBO+ app from the TV, the app isn't on there yet and honestly it probably won't ever be. We have to use the PS4 to watch HBO+, so being able to play my favorite TV show (Friends) all night while I sleep is out of the question, leaving the TV on all night is one thing but not the PS4. So the rating of the TV drops for me, I should be able to access any of the apps from this TV and not being able to watch HBO+ on it really ticks me off after the money I spent on this thing.

I love the TV overall. The picture is great and it supports lots of apps. You can set a DVD player and TiVo under the TV and between the legs. The bluetooth for headphones is great. The only little frustrating thing is the magic remote. It is like a laser pointer and hard to keep from moving around even on the slow setting. You can get it out of it easy enough but it is easy to turn on accidentally.

So far, so good. Easy set-up, except putting one of the legs on- had difficulty getting it to tighten and not be loose. Otherwise, nice picture, remote easy to use, easy hook-up to cable box. No complaints.

Absolutely love LG! All my tvs are LGs. This one is the perfect size for medium sized livingroom. Beautiful picture and so very user friendly. LG now has it's own tv channels on top of all the other channels that I get. Love it!
