We have this model for 3 months. It replaced LG39LN5300. We also have Samsung & Sony tv's. We use it for secondary TV. Main usages is TV, Movie, and some Playstation gaming(first person shooters & racing). Pros; good picture quality and sound, software for picture and sound modes, OS software navigation. Remote size, feel and both regular and wand modes. No issues with gaming. Easy set-up. Cons; OS software will not let me download Tubi App.! Front feet edges are too sharp! They cut my fingers during set-up! Additionally the silver finish reflects light from picture and is annoying in dark room view movies. We applied black gaffing tape to solve the problem. This issues are amateur mistakes and not excepted from LG. Not sure if we will purchase LG again.

I should not have bought a new 4K TV. The picture is so unclear. I should have stayed with the HD TV that I already had and just buy a Roko stick to make the TV "smart".

The LG 49” Nano Cell television has a beautiful 4K display and a whole list of features. It took me a few hours to examine all the options and features. One of my favorite features is the LG Channels app. There are a host of internet channels available for the whole family. Definitely worth giving a try. Another great feature is the AirPlay capabilities. Both of my kids have iPhones and they love to show videos from their phones. Another great feature is Sound Share. Sound Share allows you to connect Bluetooth capable devices such as phones and tablets to play audio wirelessly to the TV. Our family takes turns playing our favorite music playlist. This is such a neat feature. Casting YouTube is probably the most used feature of all. This feature is available for Android and iPhones. We normally watch a lot of videos on YouTube, so having this feature baked into the TV is pretty awesome. On the gaming side of things, the LG handles everything I throw at it very well. I have an Xbox One S, and gaming PC. I’m currently playing Gears 5, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey and Halo, and its been really fun having this television in my media room. These games all looked and played great. The picture quality was very vivid and sharp. The Dolby Vision and HDR picture modes are really eye popping. HDR and Dolby Vision content looks pretty awesome while watching Netflix. I like the having the expert mode set on while watching movies. This mode is actually useful. The LG television calibrates based on the overall environment. I have a media room with large open windows, so I use this mode when watching movies during the daytime. Overall, I’m really happy with the amount features and vivid picture quality. I’m glad to have purchased this LG 4K television and would recommend.

Didnt deliver when you said you would/ also, the tech didnt show when scheduled, He falshly stated that he had called. cant get any worse!!

This was a great deal at the Marlton Outlet. The store had under marked the price of the TV and honored their mistake, so I got the tv for $350. Excellent price for a 120hz TV, before OLED prices started dropping. The localized dimming was unsightly, that’s my only complaint about it. Upgraded to OLED.

Week after week I keep getting Rescheduled When will I get the Damm tv ? What's up with best buy

The tv does not work. It has error code. Will not connect to ips. Will return for refund.

I have been using this TV for a few months now and I am still discovering the many features it has. From being able to plug my XBOX and play my dancing games (it comes with the connecting cable which is great), watching YouTube videos, sync my phone to watch on the big screen, I was pleasantly surprised that there were many LG bonus channels I could watch without having to pay an extra subscription fee. The remote is easy to use, especially with the Netflix shortcut and the menu functions are easy to browse through. The visual of the people on the screen are super clear and you can see the details of their faces as well as the many vibrant colors. The sounds are excellent quality and I am really happy with my purchase of this TV!

This is an amazing TV. I thought the screen would look just like other 4K TV's we have, but I was wrong. It is beautifully crisp and the deep colors make for a new viewing/playing experience compared to watching or playing games on other TV's. Playing games in particular are STUNNING. Even compared with other 4K TV's, this LG Nano outshines in how beautiful the colors show. It is the first time I actually felt like this was a new movie/game experience. Pros: * Deep, beautiful colors (This is what I love most about it) * Sharp image (as expected from 4k resolution) * Games run smooth and beautiful - Greatly enhanced by the deep colors. * Intuitive remote with a sensor to use as a pointer and includes a scroll wheel. * Majority of major video apps built-in (including, but not limited to: Netflix, Hulu, Disney+, Vudu, Amazon Video) Cons (My personal opinion, these are very low-rated issues, compared to the quality of the screen): * Not as skinny and light as other current generation TV's. * The base legs are not very strong. Busted one with VERY little effort. * When watching movies/shows that have mostly black on the screen, it will "glow" and show a light beam of sorts top-to-bottom where there is movement that is not black. I have not seen this with games. Reminded me of those old giant projector-style TV's. 49NANO85UNA

If I had to sum up this tv in one word it would be Wow! From the crispness of the high refresh rate to the outstanding color and resolution, everything about this tv is amazing. I think my favorite part though is the interactive aspect. Whether its bringing up the bottom menu to change apps, using the web tv guide, or just playing games, everything feels intuitive and perfect. It's been a great center of entertainment for our family, from movie nights to gaming, everything looks so realistic and immersive it's hard to believe you're not in the middle of everything

Picture quality, sound is amazing. Easy to use looks great with both watching movies and playing on my Xbox series X.

So I'm writing this review to explain my 2 Nanocell 85 UNA 49 in experiences. And as to why they get a 3 star, or maybe less. The 1st time i bought this TV, it was phenomenal. NO issues, setup HDR with PC running 4k games on 2060 Super RTX, some games pushing 50 fps others 130. 6 months later, the pixel galaxy begins to arise. Took a while to get the TV warranty exchanged. Repair tech told me it was my fault because i was using TV as unintended. LOL. Funny guy he was. Anyway, about 4 months later, i get the warrant exchange unit. Again, AWESOMENESS for the buck!!! ..... till another 6 months goes by. Guess what? Im growing a pixel galaxy again. IDK what this thing is doing.. It's hooked up to a UPS battery backup, the video card was changed between 1st TV and 2nd. THe UPS was actually changed. HDMI cables changed. But BOTH units, at 6 months, exhibit the pixel galaxy. For those of u who don't know what that is, it's the pixels that stay green or yellow or w.e color and don't respond to anything. And they spread like a virus. Especially once they start. Might as well spend more money and go with the OLED.

TV is phenomenal. Only issue is backlight bleed during black scenes.

I bought this TV for my PS5 and Xbox Series X consoles and it was the best decision I ever made. Well worth the price and the picture is unreal. Buy it and don't think twice.

I have the 55 inch series 85. I shoulda bought LG CX! But this I use for Xbox series X primarily. This tv is best use in no light like in bedroom. Doesn’t go well in well lit area! Read that again yes. If you don’t believe me see yourself at bestbuy or Costco compare. It’s still good tv but spend extra money I should have but o well 12/29/2020
