Good but not Great
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Recently I've purchase 2 LG Nanocell and 1 Samsung Tvs. Based upon using both items, I cannot find a big difference in quality but there is a large difference in cost. The image quality is very sharp between the two tvs and the setup took only minutes adding these thru ethernet connection and wifi. The only difference I really enjoyed was the remote and the dolby sound and cinema mode. The remote has an intuitive click wheel in the center of the remote that will bring up a pointer when clicked. This comes in handy in a dark room when selecting between multiple objects. As I find that hi def tvs today take you off of the illusion of film and make movies appear to be shot by a camcorder, the cinemode is very close to the older versions tvs in the past which would emulate film grain. Overal it has a few strong features but the price point and the reduced processor speed for image streamimg is the reason for the lower score.

My First Smart TV
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The picture quality of this TV is excellent. The initial setup of the TV was easy as was the connection to my WIFI and my new X4 Blue Ray Player. Also was easy to setup my Comcast Remote to control my TV and Blue Ray Player. I have only had it for a couple of weeks so can not give review on the long term reliability of the TV. However I have a smaller LG TV that is a year old and it has no problem what so ever.

Good for gaming
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This TV, in all honesty, is the perfect TV for next-gen consoles if you’re on a budget. It has G-sync, 120hz refresh rate and a full 4K display. The only downfall do it is that blacks are pretty bad. The edge lit display bleeds a lot when something bright comes up on a dark background and it is definitely noticeable. Then again, it isn’t an OLED. So in this case you get what you pay for.

Good for the price
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This could probably content with the likes of Sony and Samsung if only it had localized dimming. My main focus when buying a TV was accurate dark colors (black) and no "halo" effect. Although the LG Nanocell does perform better than my Samsung 1080p in that regard, localized dimming could've brought it to the next level.

Great 50 inch TV
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Awesome TV! It is future proofed with hdmi 2.1 ports and will be great when I get the XBOX Series X. Also, this works great with Apple HomeKit and Google Assistant. I actually put the new Chromecast on it and thats all you will need. LG makes some pretty solid products. The sound quality is also a lot better than most TV's so if you aren't using a soundbar, this TV is great.

Great buy
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great upgrade!!! The picture is sharp and clear and you don't have to be a genius to operate it. It has many apps already installed so need need for Fire Stick or Apple module> The installation was done by the Geek Squad and they couldn't have been any more professional or knowledgeable. They walked me thru operations and features. Great experience!!!

Bargain 4k 120hz
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV if your looking for a 4k 120Hz upgrade. The backlighting can be a bit odd due to the limited zonez, but when you are playing a well light game, that wont be a problem. No Gsync is a minus, but for the price, cant complain. This TV is a bargain vs OLED, and great for use as a Monitor (49in), just make sure your desk is big enough.

Great Tv
||Posted . Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.purchased as a gift, they said it was fairly easy to set up, replacing another tv of same size, only problem in installation was that the screws were smaller that the ones on the existing wall holder. Lots of different options and they are still learning all the uses on the control. Love it, they said the picture is very clear. I would recommend this highly.

Great for next gen on a budget.
||Posted . Owned for 2 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great tv for next gen gaming on a budget. Like reviews say Blacks aren't the darkest but overall picture quality is great. Only issue I ran into was hdmi 2.1 is directly in the back so when wall mounted it’s difficult to use sticking straight out wish it was located on the side with other hdmi. Apps and OS are pretty easy to use, would recommend this TV.

Super televisoon!
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Love this television. Bought this one to replace my 42 inch in my bedroom. The picture is crisp, the refresh rate is great and love the aps which I was already using on my FireTV cube. A coupe apps still missing but hope they will be added soon. Easy setup and the viewing angles are great as well. So happy with this purchase.

Satisfied with my purchase!
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this tv because it was in the price range I wanted and ticked a lot of the boxes I was looking for. I’ve had it for about a month and the picture quality is a huge step up from my old 720p. People have made comments about the edge dimming. I have really only encountered the issue while watching credits ( white letters on black back ground). But, then again, is it really critical viewing if you are looking at credits? You can also turn this function off. I am looking to add a sound bar but I am in no rush as the speakers in the unit are not bad themselves! There are many adjustments available via the remote. I still have to get used to it. I do not understand why the play and pause buttons are at the very bottom of the unit. It makes it awkward to use them while it is in your hand. Also, you have to *shake* the remote to activate the pointer. The pointer is usually at a weird angle off of front of the remote. I have not looked for instructions on how to calibrate this function to correct it. I am giving the tv 4 stars only because I have not taken the time to really get down to the nitty-gritty fine tuning and calibration. I am however currently happy with the quality of my purchase.

Good overall TV for the size and price
||Posted . Owned for 5 months when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Good versatile TV for its size, features, and price. For 4k movies, the HDR is very average, but has 120mhz refresh rate. For gaming the TV is great. My biggest complaint is that you have to fiddle with the settings for a while before you get a good viewing experience when watching movies. The default settings are not very good.

Nice TV bad local dimming
||Posted . Owned for 1 month when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. This is a great TV if you turn off local dimming. Vibrant colors, perfect control on connected devices and great xbox experience. Dolby vision is great and sound is better than Samsung and Sony, motion handling is awesome for this price, but upscaling is not that great while still better than similarly priced Samsung. I never had any issue in changing channels with voice assistant or controlling my spectrum tv box with magic remote. I just decided to pay more and buy a product with full array panel and better upscaling quality.

My First TV for the PS5
||Posted . Owned for 1 year when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great TV and bang for the buck if you are looking for the cheapest TV with HDMI 2.1 and a Native 120Hz refresh rate for Next-Gen gaming consoles. My PS5 looks better on this TV than my $2700, Samsung 2019 model without HDMI 2.1. HDMI 2.1 is literally a game changer.

Great gaming TV
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.TV is great for gaming. Supports the new Xbox series X at 120 hertz/frames per second. My son loves the refresh rate that this tv supports for gaming on games like Fortnite and Call of Duty. The picture quality is good, but the blacks and whites could be better. However, I would definitely recommend this TV set.

4k LG Nano85
||Posted . Owned for 1 week when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Great picture and viewing angles for a tv. Low input lag, many streaming services, and easy to navigate interface. The only downside is the blacks aren't the greatest and you need to turn the local dimming feature off. I always use IPS panels and personally love them despite not the greatest blacks or contrast.
