We were able to get this product at a great sale price, which supports our 4K TV. It also has great sound on music CD's so that is a plus.

I've needed a Blu-ray player so I thought while I was looking for one I would go ahead and get the 4K Blu-ray player and it's very clear and I'm enjoying it so much that I went out and bought a TV and a soundbar from Best buy

Very good basic blu ray player. Didn't need wifi. cable was good enough. Sharp picture. Easy setup.

I got this a week before an Xbox, and if I knew I was gonna purchase that I probably would not of got this ‘cause it have 4K Blu-ray also. However, this is a really good device. I still use it frequently. The picture is excellent. The sound is always superb. Much better option than streaming for those aspects, and when you through in a Best Buy warranty you are secure. LG products are really well made, so I dint every except to cash in on the warranty.

This 4K DVD player was easy to set up, easy to operate and provides extremely vivid color and picture.

If you are looking for a product that plays both DVD and Blu-ray discs, this is the product to get! It is very easy to set up and use.

I only bought this as I understood that the best way to get 4k quality is through a 4K player. Also if getting this its best to get a 4K hdmi as well which is more compatible to ensure you are getting the clearest picture. The picture through the 4K player will be clearer than a 4K download on amazon prime or netflix. Definitely worth the investment if you are like me and big on having the best quality out there and getting the most out of your 4K tv.

I have an LG television and this integrates with it very well. My problem arose from my receiver because the UBK80 uses ARC to “talk” to the television. My Yamaha Aventage 1080 receiver would automatically switch to digital input “Audio 1” whenever the UBK80 was turned on. The receiver would immediately switch to the correct HDMI and my LG television would automatically turn on if it was off. But once the Blu-ray started to play, the receiver would switch to “Audio 1” due to the ARC, and would switch back to “Audio 1” within a few seconds if I tried to change it back to HDMI audio input. It took me days to figure out why. I thought it was the blu-ray player itself, but the settings are EXTREMELY limited and has no selection to change HDMI output/ARC. I found within the settings of my Yamaha receiver that I had HDMI set to “Auto” and “ARC”. When I selected “Manual”, it would allow me to set the “audio input” from the HDMI instead of from digital audio - “Audio 1”. As a player, it works as it should, but with two minor issues. One, the “settings” within the unit is too basic to be useful, not allowing you to change the HDMI control on or off forcing me to turn it on or off within the television or home theater receiver (never had to do that with any other blu-ray product). And two, it is a “dumb” device without WiFi capability (internet is hard wired); but if you have a newer television, or another service like Amazon FireTV, the fact that there is no “smart” interface should not be a problem.

Been wanting one for awhile this is a good one. Clear picture and easy to use great buy.
