We finally upgraded our tv and got an LG 4k, so I wanted to also upgrade my Blu-ray player to a 4K. I purchased this model because I didn’t need the next more expensive one, as we now have a smart tv that streams perfectly. The picture is awesome, and I am glad that I was able to save an additional $20 during the Memorial Day sale.

Plays well, no issues at all. 4k is awesome! Picture is great. Highly recommended.

We actually preferred having a unit without WiFi. We got a great deal on it and the quality is excellent. Simple.

We've had no issues with our LG UHD BR player. It has worked flawlessly. Upscaling of lower quality material is exceptional (atleast to our eyes) and it seems to be chugging right along. It is a bit pricey.

It is next to impossible to find a good quality 4k blueray player that does not include "smart" functionality. This is simply a blueray player that does just that. Why would I want another smart thing when my TV and pretty much everything else you plug into it already has this? I understand it as an option, but why is it so hard to find one that does not have this? All in all, Works perfectly and does what it is supposed to do.

Compact player easy to use. Has power light on even when you have it supposedly off.

After researching a number of highly rated 4k-HDR DVD players, I chose this LG unit. I already have access to streaming channels with my home theater setup, so I wasn't looking for a duplication of that connectivity. I wanted great 4K & HDR playback. The LG has proven an excellent unit for getting the max out of my system. Picture and sound is top-notch.

No frills, but gets the job done. Bare bones….not many buttons on it, remote is small, not a lot of options on there. But it does deliver a quality viewing experience and it’s very compact, meaning you can fit it just about anywhere in your home theatre setup. It seems overpriced here but we got it on Black Friday for a really good price.
