Great unit so far.

Simple setup for sure and it has a lot more features than we will ever use but it is nice to know they are there. We simply wanted to get an easy to use unit that would play our movies and this did the trick. Our setup includes an 82" tv with a Sony receiver and a typical 5.1 surround with a 10" sub.

I like this one, seems more durable than my previous. I'm not a fan of the remote, I wish it had a subtitle button like the previous model to add them without having to pull up menus and disrupt what you're watching.

4K Blu-ray... that's swell.

This one ticked the boxes for me. It does not have apps. It does not have wireless. It does have an RJ45/Ethernet connection for interactive blu ray (or whatever that is called - I never use it) and firmware upgrades. This thing is a blu ray player and that is it, which is just what I wanted.
