They are quite pricy, but glad I got it for 50% off during Christmastime. I don't quite understand why it is almost double the size of my other LG Blu-Ray player though. The buttons are grippy and there are a few more than the simple power and eject buttons.

Old CD's or new doesn't seem to matter. Works fine

It does turn on my tv when I slip a disk into it and displays what it is playing on the set which I think is a good thing. About as simple as it can get with todays technology. Very happy with my purchase.

Just a straightforward HD Ultra Blu-ray player

It doesn't have all of the smart apps and junk crowding it up with useless features. This is a straightforward Blu-ray player with stable playback and it never freezes up. Definitely recommend!

Very Easy to hook up, only an HDMI cable required (this should be mentioned in the regular item information, but was not). Excellent picture quality when used with my new LG flat screen TV.
