bought this LG blu-ray player to go with my LG tv that I bought at the same time. Works real good and when I turn it on with the remote it automatically takes over the tv and switches from whatever input you are on to the Blu-ray player. I like both of these LG products

The DVD's look great on my 4K TV when played in the DVD player. It is not a smart DVD player, all those feature are in my TV The only reason internet may been needed is to look for a software update. This DVD player has worked fine right out of the box. No issues.

Yes I know you can get 4K streaming, but if you want to truly experience what 4K can deliver buy a few 4K Blu-Ray movies or documentaries put them in the player and be amazed at the picture. The 4K Blu-Ray players are affordable so I thought it was worth the investment.

Good 4k player. love it, works good, easy to use!!

I didn’t want yet another wireless component around my TV setup and causing interference, so I went with this! It is great! Video looks wonderful and the disk is very quiet when being played. I have other components that easily have Netflix, Hulu, Amazon, etc., so getting them on my Blu-ray player would have been overkill. Loved getting it on sale.

I have purchased two of them last year and loved them so much I purchased two more for my houses this year. They produce such an awesome picture and at half price during black Friday I couldn't pass them up, thank you. I will probably buy two more next year for Christmas presents. I have a Roku and a "smart" tv, so had no need for a blu ray player that also came with all the streaming capabilities. This one is pretty much exactly what I needed and so far is doing the job well. There are two or three things that knock off a star, in descending order: 1) It doesn't remember where in the movie you are if you turn it off (accidentally or on purpose) in the middle of the film...this is my biggest complaint. 2) It boots up to a player menu with a few options I don't need (music, etc), so one extra click to launch the disc rather than just going straight to the disc menu automatically, which I would prefer. 3) The remote is tiny and light, so doesn't have that "quality weight" feel...not a major issue, and I found my old LG remote also worked with this one. Considering how much more expensive 4K players are than blu ray players were/are, seems like they could have pretty easily not had those issues, but didn't find any better options than this one.

Slim design makes it easy to store under TV and provide for good access. Indicator lights shine bright and helps to ensure proper operating. The remote control fits comfortably in the hand and provides for excellent control of operation. Unit provides for good quality viewing of disc’s.
