Fantastic picture quality. The only downfall is that it does not have Dolby Vision capabilities and the menu is sort of bland. But who cares about a menu as long as it plays good? This is easily worth the money.

Works as easy and as well as the lady who sold it to us said it would. And it gives an excellent picture on our flat screen too. We'd recommend this product and any employee over there as they've all been very helpful to us.

I really like this blue ray player. Needed a basic one to play blue rays on because my old one didn’t have the capability that the new ones have. Data was too old on the old one. This one works perfectly.

Using if for 3 weeks and LOVE the usb input for playing files off the portable hard drive. very good picture and sound and other than missing the wireless it's a great unit!

This is my second one! Works great and produces a clear picture. I mounted the first one on my wall to hide behind my tv but I struggle with trying to get the dvd to stay in because the slide had no plastic overhang to hold the discs in place. Can’t go wrong with this purchase!

Love this Blu-Ray player. We were able to condense our equipment. We not only use it to play our Blu-Ray, but our DVD and even our music CDs.

Was easy to hook up with an HDMI cable (not included) to our TV to replace a DVD player that had broken. I had to experiment with the audio settings to get the sound to play through the TV as the first automatic setting just produced a buzz. Also had to adjust the picture setting to get rid of the black bar at the top and bottom of the screen. Once those were done it worked fine to play both a blu-ray disk and regular DVD's. On power up it wanted to be plugged into the internet using the Ethernet port which was not available but I was able to get it to skip over and bypass that portion as playing DVD was all we needed.

If you are looking for a simple player to go with your 4k Hd TV, the LG-UBK80 hit the mark. There is no need for all the bells and whistles if you have a Roku or similar device. The sound is crisp and the picture is clear. Last but not least, the price is right.

It seems now all the options for DVD players are now in one updated DVD Player. So it was nice to see I could replace an old DVD player with all the updated options in one player. Works very well and I am happy with this new player.

If you have a 4k TV you need to buy a 4K Blu-ray player. It will play regular Blu-ray movies too. I also have LG 4K TV and the picture is phenomenal. Great investment.

We love our LG electronics. Super easy to use when paired with annLG tv. Put your disc in the player and the tv turns on and automatically changes the input to your Blu-ray player. Fantastic picture, especially on our LG OLED tv.

I bought this player to finally be able to see 4k ultra DVDs. Unlike most modern players it doesn't seem to have access to on -line streaming. Luckily I don't need it to do that. The video quality is very good. We'll see how long the machine lasts.

Perfect basic player. I wasn’t looking to spend a lot on a 4K Blu-ray player at this time. This was perfect. I was able to save some money due to the lack of streaming availability, But having a smart TV and Netflix availability through dish, this fit my needs perfectly. Produces a great picture.

This Blu-ray player is much better than our last one. The old one was very slow to any inputs so I can't say I was too disappointed when it finally died. This LG - UBK80 responds immediately and so far is working great.

This Blu-ray player makes my 4K look great. Blue Planet is amazing. This device does not do Netflix or anything, but that is not its purpose. It is a Blu-ray player, nice and simple. I use a Roku and Apple TV for watching internet TV.

I got this as a gift. When I plugged it in, it didn't do much. I thought it was a blue jay player and I expecting i would be able to hear bird noises. My son told me it doesn't play bird sounds and I should buy a blue ray disk for it. I was able to find a blue ray called The Blue Jay an I ordered it on the infernet. I also bought The Crow. I'm certain I will be satisfied with the final result of the combined purchases. I'm hoping it attracts plenty of birds. I plan on putting it in my deck so I can watch them while I drink my morning coffee.

Works great, looks sleek, easy to use remote. I've had this now for a while and it had been a work horse for us. Loads quick and the interface is nice. Would definitely recommend!

Love this player. No wifi (but ethernet connection), no frills, did not need them. You cannot stream any apps with this, so if that's what you are looking for, this isn't for you. We just needed a player and that's what this is, a great simple player.

This LG DVD player was a great replacement for my 5 year old Samsung DVD player. Not a smart DVD player. Just wanted a DVD player that plays movies. That's all, nothing else. First LG product I ever bought. Great price.

The DVD works fine -- even on old DVD's. I am still having problelms accessing my SONOS sound system and can't get the hold of the GEEK squad which is frustrating. I imagine BB and the Squad are short staffed.
