Outstanding! LG just kicks tail. I own a LG TV and another LG 4Kk Blu-Ray Player. I believe LG is the best in the business. You can’t go wrong with an LG.

Was hesitant to spend that much on a dvd player, but so happy with it. Best one I have ever owned and super easy to set up. Great help in selecting my purchase.

Yes I still buy DVDs. I have a selection of all 3 definitions. I don’t use it often but I wanted a player that would play all 3. This one does and I’m happy

With more movies coming out in UHD, we needed a player that would let us watch them as they were meant to be watched, but would still let us watch our older movies.

I fail to understand all the five-star ratings because this thing is kind of crap. The only way it's not just like complete trash as if you somehow get it for $50 1. The layout of the buttons on the remote is completely irrational and practically impossible to operate in the dark. The navigation buttons don't pause or play or skip back or forward like you would expect - they are only used in the player menus and the disc menus. It has separate play and pause buttons. 2. It doesn't support skip forward or skip backward - only fast forward or rewind like you were back in the VCR days. 3. It doesn't support inbound HDMI-CEC, meaning you can't control it using your TV's remote... If you want a better remote you have to go out and get like an old school universal remote control. 4. Considering the cost of adding Wi-Fi support today is under $1, there is no excuse to not include Wi-Fi. But LG did it and it's ethernet only. 5. It lacks any significant amount of configuration for basic things like HDR. 6. It lacks the option to automatically select the optimal frame rate - it's 60hz or 24hz and you've got to go in and manually select it. 7. It seems to have an aggressive power management, turning itself off after a very short delay whilst paused. Of course it's not configurable - it might be on or off but I don't remember for sure. 8. This thing is really big. For a dirt cheap zero extra feature no streaming no nothing but playing the disc... It seems like it should be about half the size. 9. LG didn't bother to have a native English speaker review the menu translations... 10. The global closed caption settings are rather confusing and seem to include some archaic functionality (analog caption??) 11. Mine didn't come with an HDMI cable I'm sure there's more but that's all I can think of for now and it's more than enough reasons to not buy.

I was impressed with Blu-Ray, but this 4K adds dimension that is encouraging me to revisit my entire film collection. The Blu-Ray disc look spectacular too!

We only use our TV for movies / TV shows on disc & video games. When we upgraded to a 4K TV, we wanted to be able to watch 4K movies as well. No complaints so far!

Awesome quality if you already have smart tv and don’t need all the extra things like Netflix and Hulu and such it’s fantastic

This is a great 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player! We love it! It has a beautiful crisp and clear picture. The color is dynamic! We are very happy with this purchase.

This is a very good 4K blue ray player, it does not have wi-fi streaming capabilities but that is not a issue as the TV's and other devices already have those options.

This player works great small remote easy hookup not much space taken by it’s size either. Plays my 4K movies great no complaints.

I've only had it a short time. Picture and sound are near perfect (my opinion only).
