I had purchased this player for my parents for Christmas so they could get the most out of their 4k TV and I watched a movie on it with them shortly after and this makes an incredible difference to the appearance of the movies. Makes DVDs look bad

Just bought a 75inch 4k LG tv and needed a 4k player. This 4k player does all that i need it to do. No complaints. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a 4k player that won't break the bank.

This is a great upscaling 4K Ultra HD blueray player. It even makes my classic dvds look amazing. Very user friendly. I will be buying another one for my home theater system.

Player is simple to use, high quality and late night watching a movie on this device you have the volume of your tv not so loud you DON'T hear any NOISE from this device unlike many others.

Does everything I expected. Easy to hook up, works nicely with my system.

Excellent video & audio quality. Easy to set up. Remote is well designed and comfortable. Nice, simple piece of equipment. No frills to worry about.

Player works great. Definitely can see the upscale on the definition. I just wish the remote control was bigger for my fat fingers, lol.

So far we're very pleased with our purchase. The movies look great and the DVD player was super easy to connect to our network and TV. Plus it's super easy to operate.

The picture quality is excellent. It syncs with my LG OLED TV perfectly.

First LG product I've ever owned but I must say I'm impressed. simple menu layout, plays everything I throw at it and works great with new and old media. Put it up against any of the competition especially for the money.

Definitely a no frills Blu-Ray player with impressive output. Has played every format I've attempted thus far with great quality. Would have been a 5 star with a better remote which is basically the same as the low end basic LG models.

1st unit was DOA. A quick exchange and the 2nd unit works perfectly. Exactly what I wanted, a DUMB, 4K ready Blue Ray player. I already have a smart TV, I do not need another smart device. So far has perfectly played everything we've tried.

Very straightforward. Easy to use. No frills which i prefer. Just a simple blu ray player which is exactly what I was looking for. Quality is fantastic. Pop in a movie and your ready to go in less that 30 seconds.

I had purchased a Sony UBPX-X700 from Amazon because it was the most popular. Unfortunately, it was not a good experience. The player simply did not play 4K DVD's well at all. So I did some more research and found that the LG UBK80 was the most reliable, reasonably player if all you wanted to do was watch 4K DVD's. Well, that was all I wanted to do. I didn't need a player that had everything built in that was already part of my smart TV, plus, the Sony didn't play regular DVDs or music CDs like the LG does. I just wanted to KISS, and this player did it for me. Sometimes, less is more.

We purchased the LG 4K UHD blu-ray player from BestBuy when we purchased our LG 65" QNED 4K UHD TV.

Good quality 4K Blu-ray player! Can use player connected to internet via Ethernet. Very straight forward & easy to use. Anyone who doesn’t want to spend too much for 4K UHD player and wants internet capabilities this is the one.....

Absolutely best picture I've seen on a 4K Blu-ray player unbeatable price just wish I would have gotten them a remote with it.

Great picture. I’m not sure the upscaling is quite 4K, but it’s very good. Blue ray plus for sure. I don’t use the apps because I have a Fire TV and use those apps. The WIFI hooked up easily.
