Great Basic 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player!

This plays all my DVDs, both regular and Blu-ray, with an excellent picture. This Player was also super easy to connect to my LG 4K television. Remote is simple to use and the price was reasonable!

I'm sure it performs as well as many of the reviewers claim but not having access to my apps is a total dealbreaker. Apparently (according to the BestBuy sales associate) nobody except Sony makes wifi DVD players anymore, which is what I ended up replacing this with. LG should perhaps clarify this on the box or on the BestBuy website, which is where I bought it, to save some brand embarrassment in future).

Great 4k player

I did return it because of only one hdmi my tv does not pass though Dolby hd so i found out that i needed a player with 2 hdmi one for video and one for audio for my receiver. But if your just using optical for audio or just using tv speakers or a soundbar this will be fine

As long as you aren't looking for streaming and other 'smart' features and just want a solid player that does a great job playing 4K discs and up-scaling blu rays this is a great choice.

The only complaint I have it that it is not a region free player; wish I had the time to have done a little more research on these players, but I needed a replacement immediately.

Fantastic picture on my 65" LG TV and only minutes to set up. This was more than I needed as I do not watch too many DVDs but I wanted to be sure to have one with 4K ability. Really enjoyed watching the John Wick 2 disc 4K set. Would buy again

It's also a working horse because my husband & I don't have cable so we depend on the machine as our way for entertainment. We recommend this Blu-ray highly.
