Easy to install and works perfectly in sync with my tv......that i also bought at Best Buy.....

We bought the LG Blu-Ray to replace our aging JVC DVD player. The LG offers a simple and easy-to-use menu and display. We were pleasantly surprised to find it played our Region 0 DVDs from the UK (Les Miserables and David Copperfield)! They previously only played on the JVC.

My wife and I wanted a blu-ray player that didn't have any smart Wi-Fi capability. After reading reviews, we decided on this one and glad that this worked out. Plus, Best Buy honored their online posting so saved even more with price matching at store.

Pretty fast load time. No winding noise, but it is in a cabinet. Be sure to get new hdmi cables that support 4k. Old ones gave nothing at all. Switched them out and all is well. Plays old movies well also.

We've owned this since July of 2019 and it's never had a problem reading a disc. You could go up a model for HDR but even as a movie enthusiast I've never noticed or missed it. Even on a 85" HD screen. I would totally buy this exact player again.

We actually originally purchased this for our family room, but ended up using in our bedroom with the 4k tv. It really is like watching a movie and being there. Picture so clear you feel like you can reach out and touch the animals, trees, flowers, etc!

No frills 4K player. Lacks some of the bells and whistles but it's also a solid player that plays discs flawlessly. Recommended for folks that "just want something that will play their discs".

Sometimes it has a hard time playing some 4k discs. But for the price it's ok.

Overall a good Blu-ray player. Just be aware it isn’t a smart player. Which is fine with me, but it’s something to keep in mind if that’s what you’re looking for. Otherwise it does what it says it does!

I bought this DVD player for my neighbor as he is somewhat technologically challenged. This was so easy to hook up and integrate with his current home audio equipment and tv. If I were in the market for a DVD player, I would consider purchasing this exact one.

I just got it, so I can't really give a full evaluation of it. I do appreciate how it has small tags indicating sides, since it's hard with a fitted bottom sheet to know what corner goes where. I look forward to years of good useage.

It is a great little machine. The price was just right and it works perfectly in 3D, which is the only reason I purchased it.

Nice Blu-ray player. Perfect clarity. Sure it will be great for all our DVD's and Blu-ray discs.

Works pretty good, didn’t have any problems with it, except for one time when it froze; I’m not sure if it was caused by the disc or an error from the device. Other than that it’s been great, really cool design, and does the job! Also don’t expect a smart blue-ray player, this one is basic!

I bought the blue ray player for my boyfriend and he loved it. He had just bought him a bigger tv and he couldn’t wait to hook the blue ray player up to it. He was like a kid in the candy store. I bought him one and his son bought him one too.

Exactly what I was looking for AND at a good price point! I had a couple 4k UHD Blu-ray DVDs and needed a straightforward player for them. Very glad I found this and delivered in 12 hours with same-day delivery!

If you already have a Smart TV, just get this player, as they cut the excessive features from this model such as bluetooth, wifi, etc... and just give you a solid player. It works perfectly for us - no complaints at all. Saved 100+ bucks versus other models.

Excellent product that play Blue-Ray and DVD without any problem! Easy to install and the images are really sharp even on DVD. I really recommend this LG - UBK80 - 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray Player!

It's a Blu-ray player. Not sure why I bought it since I don't own blurays, but... Nice to have the option I guess. Kind of a pian that it has to be connected to the internet to be set up.
