So far it has been a good Blu-ray player. I have had several LG appliances that haven't lasted over two years but the Blue-Ray seems to be functioning well.

I'm enjoying watching movies on this. I've never had a high resolution player and this one does the trick. Thanks for this item.

Ipurchased this LGubk80 Blu ray player because i own one and it has been great. This has a user friendly menu, would recommend.

We bought a 4K disc and needed a player to play it. This was a open box item that fit the bill.

Solid 4K player with minimal features, best used with a LAN cable. No wireless connection.

For being my first 4K Blu-ray player it’s pretty awesome, glad i didn’t realized that my John wick collection was 4K ultra only, make sure you also purchase a hdmi cable as well lol, i felt dumb when i first opened the it

WATCH! The first player was broken. The Geek Tech tried to get it to work - but it wouldn't! The "geek" was gracious enough to return it to the store and come back and install the second player. "THE GEEKS" are Tops!!!

Excellent DVD player. Simple to hook up. Love the picture quality.

Even though I would not recommend this at full list price, this is an excellent choice for a 4k Blu Ray player when it's on sale. Even though it has no support for streaming services, it is very fast and reliable with loading 4k discs.

I have had blu-ray player for over a year now. I works great with no problems at all.

So far so good, no play back stutter. HDR is good and plays Media files from exrenall usb drive. Loading times are fine from UHS 4k and tiny bit faster on Regular blu rays. I would buy again for a decent entry 4k player.

I've connected this to my 4k SUHD TV. 4k HDR Blu-ray content looks amazingly good. Regular Blu-ray disks look equally great with 4k upscale. Overall this is a very good device for buyers who don't need built in WIFI or smart features.

The only thing I didn’t like is there is no manual included with it and very difficult to download from the LG website.

I will straightforward simple DVD/Blu-ray player. I have a collection of DVDs and my old player Stopped working. This Did an excellent excellent job. Controls are simple and straightforward and the images are great.

I like LG's line of products. This was less expensive, at the time, than other models and brands, but doesn't have the whistles and bells. Good 4K player with remote which was what I wanted. For the money and a basic player, a good choice. Is rather large though.

No extra features to slow things down. Just insert disk and play quickly. Supports passing though all the latest sound formats to my receiver or TV.

Needed to complement my 4K Ultra HD Television. Blu-ray outperforms DVD. Also helps to upscale old DVD movies in my library. Works great - no complaints. Managed to buy with a small discount.

So far it's great. Problem is this is the third one I have purchased and they seem to quit between 6 mos. and 1 year. This is the first LG so hopefully it will last for several years.

Image quality is great. Superb job upconverting regular DVDs. Unfortunately, the other day the system would not respond to any of the remote commands and had to recycle power to get it going.
