Customers enjoy the superb picture quality and ease of use of this 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray player. Many appreciate its performance and the fact that it plays various disc types well, while some find the remote control could be improved and the lack of Wi-Fi a drawback for certain users. The compact size is also a plus for many.

It’s an ok player but I notice that it shows 4K discs on the darker side and I can’t seem to turn up the brightness for some reason

Some dvds sound doesn’t match the lip movement but thinking we need to get a different wire to hook it up with.

While the picture is great (it is 4K after all), any Panasonic or Phillips player I have ever owned spanks this one in features. I cannot recommend any of the three brands though. This is only my second LG. Neither of them have had the capability to put a Bluray disc on repeat, which is a total deal breaker. It's why this review is one-star. I am unsure how long this one will last. The last LG lasted 13 months before it stopped playing discs. That is on-par for the course though. All the Panasonics (4) and Phillips (2) that I have purchased in the past also only lasted 13 months. My recommendation is to just forego any optical disc players. Pirate all you want and watch on a computer if you want the 4K quality, and then buy the discs if you feel bad about doing so. Look for sources of unadulterated Bluray discs in your downloading. These can easily be between 25 and 128 GiB and even higher as the technology progresses.
