This has to be one of the best inventions! First of all, you only have to load your clothes once. Second, you program the wash and dry together and walk away until its done. Third, having the wash/wet and then dry, there is no steam or smell from a washer that says wet. Fourth, love the location of where the soap and softner goes and the to clean the lint filter. Its conveniently on top! Fifth, it is just one unit and frees up space for a pantry. It looks really nice. Lastly, you have SMART features and can cover laundry time anytime. This is a game changer. Love this product.

    Incredible Laundry Machine

Yes, laundry machine. It took me a minute to adjust that terminology but this machine is truly fantastic. While I’ll say, it’s probably not the best for a large family, for this couple of empty nesters, the space and power savings outweighs the efficiency with two machines and a lot of laundry. That aside this machine is very versatile and flexible with settings and functions. We love the very customizable cycles one can put together for a variety of needs. It’s large capacity is far more than we need but overfilling it seems to create more wrinkles in the clothes so we’ve adjusted as needed to get past that minor issue. We love the ability that one machine brings where you can set a wash and dry cycle and no transferring needed, you come home and laundry is done! If you’re on the fence and don’t have a large family but may be tight on space or just looking for easy, jump off. This machine is great!

    So far so good

So far so good, no complaints. You have to be prepared that it is different and longer end-to-end cycles, but there is no human action required in the middle and different isn't bad. When you consider how long you might leave laundry in the washer before moving to the dryer, is it really all that much longer? My thought process is I could easily do 14 loads of laundry without it causing any issue, one each night and one to start each day. I don't even come close to that so have absolutely no problem with the longer dry times , which is the complaint I saw most often made by others.

Great product, terrible Best Buy company.

The product itself seems great, although I have only washed a few loads in it. Quiet, stable, cleans and dries well. However Best Buy itself was a terrible company. They advertised an sold me an open box item online, guaranteeing excellent condition and original packaging and accessories. What I received was wrapped in bubble wrap, had scratches and dents, and no accessories! But the real problem was that no one accepted responsibility. The store claims they were just a pickup point, and all the online orders were priced and serviced from a company warehouse. The company claimed that all open box items were store responsibility. So no one would downgrade my received item to “Good” and refund me the difference.

My combo has been performing as I expected. I love it!!! It is amazing to remove clothes from my combo and they are washed and completely dry. I haven’t experienced any clothes not dry upon completion. I also haven’t experienced any clothes not clean upon completion. Once completed, all I have to do is fold and hang clothes. From here on out, I will only use-a combo.

Very pleased with the purchase of this LG Washer/Dryer Combo. After using it for a couple of months now, there has been no adjustments to our normal routine of washing clothes and bedding... except that now I don't forget to switch it into the dryer!! It runs very quietly, and saves so much space compared to a stacking unit. It's also very quick! While I had hesitation that it might take longer... it's unnoticeable if it is.

So far this is the best washer & dryer I have ever owned. It does exactly what it says it does, which is also the caveat of owning it. It does tell you that that the dry cycle has about a 10lb limit based on the advertised drying time; that is accurate, so if you wash/dry a comforter, expect it to take longer to dry. The automatic dispenser is great, and you can set the fabric softener container to be a secondary liquid container. They recommend not using concentrated liquid detergents but the amounts are adjustable via the app. The panel controls are good, but tricky for making adjustments, the app is the comprehensive control system. The app has additional wash cycles that you can run or add to the machine as well as the ability to remotely monitor and start cycles. It will also notify when the wash cycle ends so that you have time to add fabric sheets or dryer balls before the dry cycle begins. Ventless and all in one is a great space saver for condos and townhouses. If you plan on buying and installing yourself, be warned this is extremely heavy. They sent 4 men to deliver ours after the first 2 could not get it off the truck.

Besides the installation process, the machine operates efficiently. Once set up, it demands minimal attention, and generally, clothes emerge dry. Surprisingly, it excels in removing pet hair, although some may accumulate around the rubber ring encircling the door, which can be easily addressed by swiping with a cloth or running a rinse cycle. The longest duration I've experienced for a full wash and dry cycle is approximately three and a half hours, but I haven't overloaded the drum to the point where clothes spill out. Typically, most of my loads are completed in just over two hours. The only issue encountered so far is a lingering odor on clothes, which I believe I've successfully resolved. I ran the tub clean setting multiple times (around 4 or 5 times) with washing machine cleaner, and eventually noticed a significant improvement in the smell of the clothes. Additionally, I appreciate the multitude of options available through the accompanying app.

Marginally a little slower than your traditional separate wash and dry machine, but when you consider the amount of times you forget to throw your clothes from one side to the other, it often comes out more beneficial and forgiving on your forgetfulness. It’s nice being able to start a load right before sleeping and waking up to already dried clothes. I don’t think I can go back to regular separate machines. If anything, I’d rather have 2 of these next to each other for redundancy. But since it’s a newer concept than your traditional sets, it wouldn’t hurt to throw extra warranty on it. Just in case.

Great washer, but dryer leaves a lot to be desired

I've had this unit for about a year now. It washes really well—no complaints there. But the drying process is extremely slow, even for small loads. It’s not uncommon for a cycle to take several hours, which defeats the convenience of an all-in-one setup. There’s also a small but persistent drip underneath the machine, likely due to condensation buildup from the ventless dryer. Not a huge leak, but definitely something to watch out for. Another issue: lint doesn’t collect well and seems to go right through the washer drain. That’s created a much higher risk of clogs in my plumbing, meaning I’ve had to be more proactive about clearing the drains than I was with traditional machines. Overall, it's a sleek, space-saving option with great washing power—but be prepared for high maintenance and long drying times.

Overall, I really like the washer/dryer combo. It does get rather loud when drying though, I'm not sure if that's normal or not. Sometimes drying does take a little longer if you have a heavy load. The convenience of not having to switch laundry and the reminder messages to my phones are great.

Firstly I bought this product open box, it had a very slow washing and drying time of over 4 hours or more. It didn't matter if it was an AI wash and dry cycle or any of the other wash and dry cycles. I ended up being in contact with LG and Best buy troubleshooting it for days on end with the conclusion being it was a faulty machine that needed to go back to the manufacturer. I used this in my apartment and had nothing but a headache with it. I had it a little under 2 months and I'm so thankful to be able to return it! My suggestion to all get best buy plus membership which allows for 30 additional days to return items in and the warranty. Both paid off this time by being able to walk away from this machine without owing anything to best buy. Also be sure to drain your machine regularly (at least once a week), check the lint trap after every load, wipe the seal on the door with a cloth between the wash and dry cycles. Even with all of these preventative care measures there's no guarantee that you'll have a washer/dryer combo that can complete a load of laundry in the manufacturer's recommended amount of time of approximately 2 hours according to the user manual.

Have had it for about a month and really no big issues. Had to add whites load option to the interface but that was easy with the ThinQ app. Recommend smaller loads as bigger loads will take hours to complete. Great for smaller households. Also do not recommend for families who do a lot of laundry as it will take anywhere from 1.5 hours for a small pad to 3+ hours for larger loads and you’d be tying up a washer and dryer during that time instead of having multiple loads going at once.

skeptical about the product. Pleasantly surprised, it is a little slow, but it does the job. You just have to plan ahead how to wash and how to dry, leave it alone and see the result. I am very happy we bought this machine.
