The washer is quiet but I’m disappointed there is no delicate cycle, when I went to the online Manuel there is no delicate cycle and it doesn’t explain what the AI wash is for, I also scanned the code and it doesn’t show. Otherwise it is ok. It does have end of cycle buzzard and it also doesn’t really explain that well how to use which level with which cycle it doesn’t explain well and of course you can’t reach the store to ask, only a call center

Hi, Jenifer. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand the importance of your LG Washer (WT8200CW) model offering clear cycle options and easy‑to‑use features.

While this model does not have a labeled Delicate cycle, you can achieve similar results by using the AI Wash cycle, which automatically adjusts water levels, wash motions, and time based on the load’s fabric type and soil level. For delicate fabrics, it’s recommended to select Cold Wash with a lower spin speed to reduce wear. The end‑of‑cycle buzzer can be adjusted or muted in Settings → Sound → End of Cycle Signal. New Washer, Bad Washer

I typically don't leave reviews, but I'm hoping to help save others from the constant headaches this brand new washer has caused us since it was installed professionally by Best Buy. We needed a new washer due to our previous washer's bearing failing around the 5-year mark. We found this LG with mostly decent reviews. The washer was delivered and installed and tested in an efficient and professional manner by Best Buy. The washer is on a flat, level surface (which is important to note for later), and I was able to do the first load of laundry without any notable issues prior to leaving town for vacation. After returning home and using the machine, we've had nothing but problems. Our previous washer with the worn- out bearings sounded like it was going to explode when it got to the spin cycle, and we were so glad to have this new LG installed to avoid hearing the loud knocking that would occur during spin cycles. However, a similar loud knocking sound happens during EVERY load of laundry's spin cycle without fail. Normal wash = loud knocking sound. AI wash = loud knocking sound. Quick wash = loud knocking sound. Heavy duty wash = loud knocking sound. You get the picture. Upon doing some research on this specific issue and actually coming across LG troubleshooting videos on YouTube addressing this very issue, I quickly realized this is a LG "smart washer" design flaw. There are SO many others out there who have experienced this same issue, and I wish I had found their feedback before purchasing this washer. LG's trouble shooting videos tell you that if you have too few items in the washer, it will go into an unbalanced mode, causing a loud knocking sound during the spin cycle. If you have too many items in the washer, it will go into an unbalanced mode causing a loud knocking sound during the spin cycle. If you have bulky items, it will go into an unbalanced mode causing a loud knocking sound during the spin cycle. If you have a mixture of heavy and light items, it will go into an unbalanced mode causing a loud knocking sound during the spin cycle. All of these combinations and many more leads to a loud knocking sound, and LG recommends you manually redistribute the laundry to help alleviate the issues. Who. Has. Time. To. Monitor. Their. Laundry. Cycles?! Shouldn't a so-called "smart washer" be able to wash loads of laundry without manual redistribution on every single load? Quick Wash cycles can take up to four-times longer due to the unbalanced issues that then prompt the washer to add more water and go through another cycle or two AGAIN and AGAIN. This is a total waste of water and resources, not to mention, a waste of the owner's time having to babysit each load of laundry. We have done all of the trouble shooting. This new washer: * is installed on a flat, level, sturdy surface. * is free from any foreign objects in the drum. * SHOULD be free from any issues with the machine's suspension and/or drum components (because it is new and was professionally installed and tested by the installers prior to their departure). Many of the reviewers and videos I've watched have shared that the only fix for them was purchasing another washing machine by a different brand. Many reviewers had multiple technician visits to no avail. We will be returning this washing machine. I've never in my entire life returned a washing machine, but this issue is exhausting and not worth the run-around of trying to troubleshoot issues that rest on LG and not the consumer. Please save yourself from being yet another reviewer coming her to express the same frustrations. Your blood pressure will thank you.

Hi, Tom. Thank you for sharing your feedback with us. We understand your experience with your LG Washer (WT8200CW) model having a loud knocking sound during the spin cycle and the constant disruptions to your laundry routine. We strive to provide reliable, high-quality products and exceptional services to ensure a smooth experience.

A simple troubleshooting step you can take is to check if the unit is overloaded. For bulky items like comforters, it is recommended to wash only one at a time and ensure it is distributed evenly around the drum to prevent imbalance.
