    I was apprehensive about buying a washer based on so many friends who hate the new technology in all washers today. The reviews I read on this washer before purchasing, were GREAT! I have been very pleased. It washes great - has tons of room, and completes a load in about 56 minutes (comparable to my old washer). Some reviews complained about the noise. I don't find that to be any problem, and I like the little chime it makes when it's done! Would definitely recommend this washer. (Mine is with the impeller - not the agitaor model).

    Love this model! We had an LG washer at our previous house, so bought this model for the new house. This one is even better! The large capacity somehow isn’t as deep as the old one; however, this makes it so much easier to get clean laundry from the bottom of the basin. The washing capacity is the same. Our laundry smells very fresh and clean with unscented soap. In addition, I feel like this model also rinses the clothes completely.

    My wife is in love with the washer. Lots of space to wash even the biggest of items. With a newborn at home, we are doing a lot of laundry and the different settings and capacity to wash loads of various sizes and types is perfect for us. The dog even tried climbing on top of the washer it’s liked that much in our house. Looks great in the basement. Programmable settings and chime for when load is washed is nice as well.

    3/5 is a bit misleading, let me explain. The washer works fine, simple and efficient, The waterproof cycle works great. One of the machine's first loads was a shower curtain and liner. Both came clean. This washer has "soft touch" power and on buttons. Please use a "soft touch." We had an LG washer prior to this one and it went through a number of control boards with "soft touch." Hoping LG has updated this. The rating is more for what it doesn't have: a soak cycle. Miss this function.
