I wanted to give this product a 4 but I couldn't because it is too good. It looks great and washes perfectly. It also washes differently than any thing I've ever had. The bottom goes in one direction as the side goes the other. No big arm (sorry, I don't know what to call it) in the middle to slosh the clothes around. Which means it is easier to put clothes in and pull them out. But there is one thing I really don't understand. Why doesn't LG make the tube for emptying the water longer so it reaches the tub? My tub sits 6 inches from the front of the washer and the tube will not rest over the tub. I had to tie a string around the tube and then the pipe on the tub to at least make sure the water doesn't fly all around the basement. I can't find one that is long enough yet. As a last resort I'll call LG (I can only imagine what they will charge me...if they have one! Don't let this little thing stop you from purchasing this unit. It is actually great.

We bought this washer as a emergency replacement for an 8 years old Kenmore. This has been a very good purchase. The washer is very quiet and seems to good job washing and spinning the clothes dry. The app is wonderful. Knowing when the clothes are ready to be moved is a great idea. It is very large. It hold a massive amount of clothes. An entire basket worth of clothes fits without issue. Overall I would recommend this washer to anyone looking for something like this. We did have the dryer break one month to the day and we replaced it with the matching dryer. And we couldn’t be happier because it’s just as nice.. Only negative is that the washer is very deep and my wife and daughter need a stool to reach the bottom. It wouldn’t stop me from buying it..

Meets my needs for a larger capacity but I can still reach the bottom of the tub. Still learning all the setting but happy so far. Erica provides great customer service. Delivery was fast & efficient.

We have had the LG washer now for a few weeks. It is quiet, easy to use and gets the clothes clean. It is deep which allows for a good amount of clothes to be washed at one time. Lots of setting to choose from. Excited to use it for different types of clothes in the future. Great buy!

I love this washer. Even though it uses less water my clothes are clean. The spin cycle spins them almost dry, which also cuts down on electric usage with the dryer. The machine is quiet when running. I have not used the app with my washer yet. Installation was quick and professional.

Our front loading washer broke and we decided to try this one as my daughter has the same one and loves it. It washes so much better than my last one, holds a lot more clothes, and because it senses how many clothes are in the wash, the cycles are pretty short! Would highly recommend it!

I spent several weeks researching washers. I was nervous of this one because of some the the other reviews. Washer is amazing. You can fit a king size comforter in it with no problems. All clothes come out clean and smell amazing.

We had this washer for a couple of weeks and I absolutely love it! Huge capacity, quiet and dry efficient. We had a front load washer previously and the new washer seems to have shorter wash cycles, seemed like the front loader took for ever the end the cycles.

Great washer, no complaints! It has a tub clean setting that I use every 3 months, and I've had no issues with it in the nearly 4 years that I've had it. Compatible with Google Home as well.

Great washing machine. I have always been a fan of this style washer. I am able to clean so many clothes at once. I did my homework on different washers for a very long time and this was my top pick. I was able to get this at such a good price too. The matching dryer was great with this product as well. I would always recommend a top loading washing machine but of course some people might think different. I have been using this for some time and have nothing bad to say about it. I will continue to use it and clean a lot of clothes in one load. This also helps me save water which is great. Can’t go wrong with this product but make sure to do your research before purchasing and make sure this is for you

The clothes are clean, the machine runs quietly, there are multiple cycles and water temperatures, and it’s easy to operate. We like the washing machine.

Read the Consumer Reports review of this washer, and have not been disappointed. It has a huge capacity and does a great job rotating the load (believe me I have watched it closely). No complaints! I balances the load very well. No shaking, and very little noise. Love it!! Recommended buy, if you need to.

I love everything about this machine! I never used to be able to complete my family of four's laundry in one weekend. This machine holds so much laundry I'm washing all those things I kept wishing I had time to wash. Plus it's quiet and doesn't wake the baby during nap time. Highly recommended!

We’ve had two Samsung’s in the past 5 years that both broke. We upgraded to LG because of the brand quality. Our clothes feel cleaner as well. I love the large capacity of the top loading washer compared to our old front loader. Only downside for me, is that there isn’t a quick wash cycle like I am used to using. Other than that, great washer!

Recommended Product I'm in love with this washer. Incredibly easy to use and makes my clothes, towels and bedding so clean. Home Depot delivery was incredible. They were later than expected, however were in and out with a working product within 30-45 minutes. I would highly recommend this product.

After 15 years our front load washer gave out. I wanted a top load washer because over time front load washer would give clothes a mildew smell due to water being trapped inside the rubber front seals. Researching and reading some negative reviews I was a little hesitant about this washer. It was between this or the Speed Queen, and we decided to purchase this LG 5.0 Cu. washer. A lot of the older built homes have 1.5'' drainage pipe, make sure you have 2'' drainage pipe before purchasing this washer. I just wished it wasn't a Smart Washer. I wouldn't have connected the washer to my wifi and installed the app if there wasn't an additional one year extended warranty promotion. The machine wouldn't connect to wifi. I had to bring my wifi router 20ft from the washer so it would connect. Other than that, the washer does what it's suppose to do. No issues yet.

Works great, large tub and plenty of options. Controls are easy to use intuitive. Clothes come out very clean. It does not use much water, so do not think something is wrong when you look at the washer when running. It is designed that way to conserve water.

Excellent washer for the money! Had a Samsung top of the line washer but broke after 6 years. This LG washes the clothes much better and quieter. Time will tell regarding durability.

It’s great to get notifications that your laundry is ready. A great feature I’ve noticed is when you add too much to machine it lets you know so it doesn’t damage the mechanisms. Very quite and I no longer have the issue with stretched out t stirts.

It’s quiet, it’s efficient, it does a great job. To activate the wick thru the app, you must scan the QR to get your life easier. Otherwise, you could have spent hours doing it. Make sure to download new modes for energy saving such as small load wash.
