Largest washing machine I’ve ever owned. Fits all my queen bedding in one load. Lots of settings to get your best fit for the wash you need. Easy to use and figure out. Lighted backboard of the control panel helps to be able to see which control setting you are on.

No agitator, efficient, lots of choices, easy to use and quiet. We probably could have bought the smaller (4.5 cu. Ft.), so if you don’t have a large family you’re washing clothes for, you can save about $100 and get the same great washer. We’ll buy the matching dryer when our old one goes.

Owned almost a month love machine it’s quiet and like the sound it makes when load is done. The only slight problem I have is my wife is short and she sometimes finds it hard to get clothes from bottom of machine so I got her a grabber to grab items like a sock .

Really really quiet compared to my last machine. So far I really like it. Cold water rinses are built in. Can choose water efficient or full tub depending on my needs. I hate the child locks, but it seems that all the new machines have them.

The washer is great! As a washing unit it performs great, it is large, as an appliance is good looking, I wish LG would have been installed an LED light in the washer as they did in their drier. I give a five star to the appliance, but it would be a 3 star to their software integration. I understand LG’s ambition to be in the home automation space in the same way that google, amazon and apple is, but they cannot get there if they don’t play nice, with the others and their Alexa Skills Suite is not great. LG needs to do the right thing by their appliances (washers, driers, dishwashers, etc) and build proper integration apps that allows all the features of their appliances to be operated remotely through all other technologies that exist in a smart home ecosystem.

Awesome washer, great capacity. If washing on normal seems like you have to select more water option to really wash clothes the best. End spin cycle is insane--clothes almost dry when time for the dryer

After 3 washes I am very happy I bought this washer. It has more capacity in a smaller footprint than my whirlpool. It washes more quickly, far better, using less water and remains balanced no matter how I stack the clothes in it.

Works great and the whites come out super white! We purchased it because Consumer Reports said it is low on vibrations, due to us installing it on the second floor. The washer is super quiet down stairs. The only thing you can hear is the water draining through the pipes.

I had no idea what smart appliances were actually good for, when I Bought my LG (Life is Good) Washer and dryer. FIRST - buying appliances from a company with a UX mindset, means that you're getting a product that has been tested for satisfaction. Things that legacy manufacturers lost sight of along the way, have been fixed. You know that rage you feel, as you jump out of your skin, when dryer buzzes? It's meant to alert you that your load is finished, but it wakes every living things in your home. A company like LG realizes that you do laundry more frequently when your children are young, and consequently, this is the time of life that sleep is so important. I could go on for hours about how they've fixed the buzzer, and replaced it with a pleasant lullabye—but any company could have done this. SECONDLY - as a smart device, my new appliances allow anyone to succeed. If, for instance, I have a reputation for shrinking laundry (which I can neither confirm nor deny) then I could load the laundry myself, while a more competent launderer in my family sets the settings. All I have to do is load the machine, and add detergent, softener, and/or bleach. Extending this totally hypothetical scenario, anyone with the LG App installed also gets a notification when a load is finished. FINALLY - All LG Smart devices have the ability to run diagnostics, when you suspect a problem. I get notifications if a load is uneven, and for standard maintenance that extends the life of the machine. And, if I suspect something major is wrong, I just start the Smart Diagnostics function on the app, and place the microphone where it can receive information, and send me a list of possible issues, and/or fixes. Again, it takes a UX company to recognize that we are long past the days of the "maytag" repairman - in a YouTube culture, LG knows that the bast way to serve customers is to anticipate their needs and be there for us, on our terms.

I purchased the washer and dryer and both have a classy appearance. It keeps a very clean appearance. The drum inside is huge and can hold a lot of clothes and also bedding will fit. If you want to wash a comforter, this washer will do it! There are lots of choice settings and bedding is one of them. Normally the new wash machines are energy efficient by saving you on the water. There is a setting called "WashPlus" which adds the "usual" amount of water. Either choice, my laundry has come out clean. I also love how the display shows how long the laundry will take to clean. This washer is easy to use!

    Rust so soon ??!?

Less than three years old and has a large rust area on the inner rim. Our water has very low dissolved solids and medium PH. Otherwise, it's still in great shape. Disappointing.

This is the first time I've purchased a washer and dryer- a lot of research was done and I couldn't be happier. Lot's of features, cleans clothes well, great looking. A little louder than my last set, but that's the only negative.

This washing machine was well rated by Consumer Reports. It has a large capacity enhanced by the absence of an agitator in our previous washing machine. It handles family sized loads ver well.
