Love this washing Machine. My clothes are very clean, It's relatively quiet compared to my old washing machine. I love the sound it makes when the load is done. Very large capacity for comforters and blankets. I have a LG refrigerator. I love love love it. So decided to go with an LG product again. I'm glad I did. The delivery was an issue. They did not hook up the hose so I had water coming through my ceiling on the first floor. Best buy did remedy the problem and is paying for the damage. No fault to this lovely washing machine.

I have only had my washing machine for a few days but I can already tell that I'm going to love it. I love that it automatically judges the size of the load and pretests the necessary settings. It's quite and I love the various settings. It's the first time I have had a machine without the agitator in the middle and love that I can put in the bedding without worrying about adjusting it around the agitator. Looking forward to purchasing the dryer to match in the future.

Love this washer, got the set. They're easy to use and very nice looking. Setup with the wifi was simple but my only complaint is the delayed start via the app isn't as useful as I hoped. You still have to turn the machine on manually and it times out and turns itself off too soon. Hold a LOT of clothes and washes well. If you're short like me at 5'0", you'll need a small step stool to comfortably retrieve the clothes after a wash.

I bought this washer for the purpose of being able to large loads of bulky items... I am a competitive equestrian and after horse shows and daily training I have a lot of wash to do. The washer is very quiet and efficient. All my horse laundry comes out clean and disinfectantEd. The best part is that since the capacity is so large I have yet to fill it up for a load. Very happy with LG. I have had LG in my home for over 12 years now and by far the best of all brands I have purchased.

Exceptionally QUIET in operation. Except for water running, you have to stand in front of it to know it is working. So far so good, ease of use and smart operating features are a real plus. Clothes come clean thoroughly, no residual soap film. Tub has huge capacity, clean Queen size bedding, in one load. My daughter washed 2 comforters at once, machine did not shake or shut down from imbalance. Will see about Energy efficiency down the road. For the price, Recommend buying it.

I love this washer! It gets my laundry really clean. I had a fifteen year old GE washer, and I was very nervous about replacing it after reading some bad reviews on new washing machines. It was time, so I took a chance on a different brand and bought the LG 5.0 cu. ft. top loading washer. Not only do I love it, but my husband and two boys do too. Now, instead of fighting with them to do their wash, they ask if the washer is free and do it themselves. (at least my 16 yr old does). For the first couple of days we all enjoyed watching the washer through the clear lid. The unit can wash so much more at once than my old GE that I have less loads. For example, I can wash all of my darks in 1 load instead of 2 or 2 1/2. I can also wash my Queen comforter at home instead of running to the laundromat. Yay! I also love that I get a notification on my phone when the laundry is finished. Get the app. The one and only problem I had was I tried to wash a new bathroom rug by itself. It washed and washed for hours, I'm not sure why, and the rug lost a ton of its fluff, that was difficult to clean all of it out. I won't do that again. I think the fluffy stuff must have messed up the sensors or something. I'm happy to say I've not had any issues since. Tip: even though there is no agitator, I still place the clothes in a circle as if there was one. I'm very pleased with my LG!

So far so good! Have only used for 2 months but initial impression is great so far. Very large load capacity and easy to use. Only small negative is that it has a high pitch, subtle noise while in use, but I can only hear it when close to the machine. Not a big deal. Cleans the clothes very well.

Pros: It's very large, we went with the top load so save our backs and our previous front loader would really get to smelling moldy if we didn't clean it religiously. The wife wanted a washer that could do comforters and blankets and this one will do that! The glass door is interesting (its mesmerizing watching all the different movements this thing does!). The "smart" feature is nice to connect to cell phone to know when its completed its cycle. The "review press" really likes LG so we took the gamble and gave it a go. Cons: It's very large and does a better job of washing when the tub is more full (no agitator), it's very deep (a shorter person may actually struggle to reach the bottom of it!), a family of three will have to save up laundry, it's very complicated to chose the cycle and we are still working on it, its supposed to do a "cold wash" but when you select it, warm water fills the tub for washing and rinsing, like the dryer when you pick all the options you want, it will often cancel everything out because that particular combo of options is not allowed. But you can download others so I'm sure there is a cycle we can find to match what we want - just takes time and is more complicated than it needs to be IMHO!

We had originally purchased another brand washer and within 2 days it was leaking from inside the machine. We switched to the LG and we are glad we did. It is simple to use and gets the clothes clean even without an agitator. The tub is huge. We are able to wash king size bedding in it. The app is just a novelty to us. We have a small house so when the wash is done we know it and don't need an app to let us know. But people with large homes it is probably a nice feature.

Passes the Roy test. Roy is a beloved stuffed animal. He was in the wrong place at the wrong time when the cat needed to pee on something. The last time I put a stuffie in a washing machine was 20 years ago, in a big commercial laundromat. It beat up the toy so badly I was reluctant to ruin Roy. But I had no choice. I had paired the washer with the LG DLE7300WE dryer (electric), which does a great job drying. Honestly, he looked refreshed after his trip. I've since washed a number of other stuffies, and they're no worse for wear and smell fresh. I think this top loader is easier on things than the old top loaders with central agitators or even front loaders. And it's huge. Blankets? Sheet sets? Go ahead.

Our old washing machine died and we needed a new one but was quite overwhelm with all the different selections. After much research and checking on buyer reviews, we decided on this one. It is very quiet and uses the water very effieciently. Clothes come out great with no residual detergent or grime. The tub is big enough to accommodate 1 Cal King comforter with no problem. Would definitely recomment this washer

This washer is replacing an old unit that i had for 23 years. Needless to say the technology is alot different. It took me a couple of loads to get use to it but it turns out it was easier to use than I expected. It also came with a quick start up guide that I hung up next to the machine. It doesn't have an agitator , thought that was a little weird but I'm glad I got it. I can fit comforters in the machine with no problem. Definitely worth the money.

This washer replaced a Samsung washer that was 7 years old. The Samsung began rusting around the bleach dispenser after just a couple of years and was so bad at this point the water in the machine was no longer clear. (I will never buy a Samsung product again!) This machine holds a ton of clothes, and washes very well. We love: the glass top, the ease of use, and the option of getting notifications in the LG app when a load is comleted.

I went from the old style washer to this and there are several things that take some getting used to, but that that is because of the new style, nothing to do with the quality of this washer. It works like it is supposed to. It looks nice, is very quiet and plays a musical tune when it is finished. I feel like my clothes are not getting beat up like in the agitator washers. They always come out smelling and looking fresh and clean. The cycles are longer than on the old style washers. The main thing that bothers me is I feel like they don’t use enough water to cover the clothes, so I always use the cycles that let you use the water plus feature and then there is enough water. That is a great feature. I also feel like my clothes will last longer because they are treated in a much more gentle way. I have only had it a month, but I have used it several times a week and have been happy with the performance of the LG.

Great washer. Efficient, rather quiet, can wash a full comforter so im rather happy with the choice. The added bonus is the Wifi connectivity. I didnt think the notifications would be worth it but I was wrong. I know exactly when it finishes so it just saves time and im sure the diagnostic functions will help at some point. Might buy the dryer to match once my current one dies.

This thing is huge and quiet. Love that I can wash my entire bedding in one load. So glad I switched from a front loader. My knees hated it and with this I get much more comfort in knowing it's actually cleaning my clothes.

Really happy with this machine. It has a lot of space inside since there is no auger in the middle. It is a washing machine so there is obviously sound, but it is a lot quieter than our old machine. No issues with clothing cleanliness. My wife loves the color and the price was pretty great during the Labor Day Sale.

Just got this washer. I really love it - large capacity, excellent spin cycle, easy to use. I haven’t owned it for very long and hope it will provide years of good service. My last washer only lasted 6 1/2 years. It was moderately priced but had all the features I wanted. That’s why value only got 4 stars

We went back to this top load washer after our samsung front load nearly exploded. Love the simplicity of this LG although it's been a powerhouse washer! Now that the cooler weather is here, this washer can handle the loads of sweatpants and sweatshirts. Spin cycles are great and shortens the drying time. Recommend LG! The size is great and gives us a little more room in the laundry room!

I purchased this washer over Black Friday weekend. Due to the holidays I received it in late December and have thoroughly enjoyed the newest features of modern washers. There is far more room for clothes since this model doesn't use an agitator. It begins by balancing the load, spinning left to right and once balanced introduces the water into the wash bin, again spinning around to soak all of the clothes. It's very quiet, almost too quiet. It does take longer to wash using this washer but that is probably true of all modern washers. I love that I receive notifications for when the cycle is done and I like that there are additional presets that can be downloaded to the wash machine (presets for different fabrics for example). I purchased this model as a result of online research including Consumer Reports (which I subscribe to), Best Buy reviews (and comparison charts) and online reviews when I could find them. Initially I was looking for a less expensive, traditional washer with an agitator and NO "bells and whistles" but was encouraged by CR reviews on top loading, agitator-less designs. With Best Buy Black Friday discounts and rebate incentives I'm happy to have chosen this model.
