Performance is decent, but there’s a major design defect: The menu is dark grey on black with no backlighting. It’s super hard to read. We have to keep a flashlight nearby. If this seems minor, it isn’t. You have to deal with it before every single load!

Amazing Experience using it. Takes less detergent, less noise, alarm when done, awesome features.

Replacement delivery was good but the only thing the replacement has a damaged on the corner.

I exchanged my dual load Samsung washer for this washer and it's a little loud and shakes more compared to the Samsung I had. I little over a month in and I've already received an error code for just putting in one sweater. Not very happy with the washer

do NOT order open box. This was rated "excellent," which according to the website means: "Products in this condition look brand new — with no physical flaws, scratches or scuffs — and include the original parts and accessories (or a suitable replacement),* as well as the original box (or a suitable replacement)." What a joke! The washer is dented in multiple places (including in the front). It was shrink wrapped and the washer was wet inside-- resulting in MOLD! This is "excellent?" I'd hate to see "satisfactory" or "fair."

Product sold as is, Open Box, excellent condition. I did not see this before purchase, because the item was not in the store. Upon delivery 3 dents were found on left side of the washer. I told installer to proceed with the installation. BB was notified immediately . A small monetary adjustment was credited to my account.

I purchased white washer and dryer in November. The washer was received on December 12 and I just received the dryer on 1/8, the issue was the color. The dryer was a bright white and the washer was white but had a gray tint to it. The color variance is very noticeable.... big difference in the whites.

So really this review should be 4.5 (4 1/2) stars because I hate to knock an entire star off for one crucial missing feature - that being the internal LED cavity light that WAS present on my previous LG washing machine. You don't realize how important some features are until they are taken away. Now the addition of the APP controlled washing and notification is definitely a plus, along with the large capacity and many wash cycles / features. But not having that light simply floored me. How did a model from a few years ago get a light and the newer models do not have this? EVERY new washer should have this feature - even if its not used by many - those few that do appreciate it! Aside from that much missed feature, I would also agree with the other reviewer who stated about the control panel being difficult to read. LG- you are technology leaders - and your engineers can't add simple, low-cost features like back-lighting the control panel and internal drum lighting? Maybe you should make your engineers work in dimmer/darker rooms? The washer itself is, so far, unbeatable in other innovation. My clothes have never been cleaner and smelled better. I'm glad this one hammers my water lines less when filling unlike my previous model that would turn the water fill on/off at rapid intervals - I was always concerned about the downstream affect. Nonetheless I still think LG makes a superior product and would recommend it.

This washing machine is awesome. It is so big, so quiet (with the exception of it singing - lol) and has so many awesome settings. My clothing comes out super nice and fresh.

Absolutely love this washer. Replaced an old, combo stacked unit. The drum is so big that I have cut my washing loads almost in half. I also use much less detergent. Clothes look and smell cleaner. My 8 yo son has bad allergies and the allergiene cycle is perfect for his clothes and bedding. My wife's scrubs use the sanitize cycle. Runs quiet and no vibration at all (unlike my previous unit which shook our whole floor). And the ThinQ app is great for notifications. And just for icing on the cake, the black steel model looks sharp! I cannot recommend this model highly enough.

After struggling with 2 top loaders from a different manufacturer, the LG front loader was a pleasure to use. Clothes were impressively clean and nothing was torn. The washer is easy to use, quiet, fast, and its large capacity makes big loads and large comforters easy to manage. This is the best washer we have ever owned (and we have owned many).
