love my 4200lg pair. the washer is excellent in performance. My clothes come out so clean and this machine cuts down on time the washer cycle compared to the kenmore pair i had. I also love the app which reminds me to do a tub clean or to unload my washer or dryer. It also saves me $$ on detergent and softner since it uses much less than the standard washers yet it cleans so much better. My husband works in construction and i was never able to get his clothes clean until i bought these machines. I highly recommend them. i did buy the pedestal which makes it even easier and enjoyable to do laundry and also add extra storage to my small laundry room. i suffer from lower back pain so the addition of the pedastal has been so useful. I hope they last me long enough because i love them. I remember hating front loaders since the ones i had owned were terrible. but i decided to give the lg a try and boy its a game changer. the delivery went splendid. the guys were very professional.

This replaced a new LG machine that I left in my old house because I was super impressed with the brand. This machine works great, and items are all coming out really clean and spun well. I'm yet to use the Smart features. I purchased the larger 5.0Cu.Ft for washing my own bedding with ease and this machine has that capacity. I would have given five stars but it doesn't have an internal light - poor design oversight! My last machine that was a lower model had a light which I loved.

Still learning how to use all the features, but so far so good. Great capacity and much more efficient and quieter than our old machine.

This is an excellent washing machine. One thing that I would tell someone considering this machine is to carefully read the owner's manual, especially if you are coming off a top-loader. You definitely need to take care not to overload the machine, or it will not drain properly. If you follow the directions noted in the manual, it will be an enjoyable and effective tool for getting your clothes clean. I would heartily recommend this machine!

Love this washer. Previous one was top load and used a lot of water, front load high efficiency is the way to go. Clothes are still clean, but less water used. Has quite a few useful functions if you want to use them, though the basic ones work great. It is very quiet and solidly built,

Bought this new LG washing machine to replace our previous LG that we had for 14 years. Looking forward to at least that many years of usage with this one! It runs so quiet that sometimes we have to double check to see that it is on. Clothes come out amazingly clean. LG is the only way to go when it comes to washers and dryers IMHO.

This washer does a great job. I was on a tight timeline as my old washer suddenly died. Glad I found this on. Probably more bells and whistles than I will ever need. Nice wifi/app feature that lets me know when a load is done. Very efficient use of detergent and fabric softener. Clothes come out great.

Works great. Bought on sale. Exceeds expectations. Cleans clothes very good. Highly rated in consumer reports. A little louder than expected when spraying water on the clothes but overall does the job as intended and concludes with a chime and notification to phone. Lots of space to clean a large comforter.

This is not a one week review, or even a one month review. I waited over a year to express my opinions. This has been an excellent product from day one. It works fantastic and operates as described. It is full of features and does an incredible job at what it does. I could not be happier with this purchase. Laundry is clean every time. Flawless!

Seems to clean the laundry very well and is large enough for a family of 5 with teenagers. It uses less water but adds water more times while cleaning. I haven't really tried the steam functions yet so I can't rate that but I imagine it is nice for fancier type clothing.

I was a bit hesitant in buying a front load washer, because of the mildew build up issues that I had with my much earlier one. However, after reading all the reviews I decided to go for it. I am glad that I did, it’s quiet, it’s very efficient and the clothes come out really clean. I just need to wipe it after a load so there’s no water remaining in the front.

The drum on this behemoth, holds more than I need to the point of feeling guilty running it with what used to be a decent amount in my previous Samsung. The controls are simple to understand. The speed on most cycles is quick. It adjusts the time based on something, I’m assuming the amount of clothes in it. I was hoping it would be a bit quieter but it isn’t obnoxiously loud, just a washer running. It does seem to balance the load better than my 10 year old Samsung did, I’ve never heard it going bonkers or found it moved about which I did with my previous washer. I did get it on sale so my value is based off that and not full price. Overall very pleased with it. The app seems like a gimmick, I do enjoy knowing when the load is done but otherwise pretty worthless for me. I also had Best Buy install it and was happy with the install and the safety precautions taken during covid.

We have had this washer for just under 3 years and overall it was pretty decent up until this past 6 months. First, the wi-fi isn't really useful since your washer always has to be on to run it. So, someone has to turn on the machine if you are not at home in order for you to connect and do what you need. Second, the knob to select the cycles is broken and won't turn to the correct setting. As a result, we have to try and figure out the wi-fi settings in order to get the machine to work on the correct cycle. And, we bought a service plan, but surprise, no one has record of it! Be careful with this over-priced machine.

Who knew that the color white is $100 cheaper? Our Best Buy Guy did... and great at helping us understand the many options, then found the one that best suited our needs, This washer runs like a silent sub in a WW2 movie! It was able to handle our king-size comforter and more. Even alerts my phone over Bluetooth when done.

My wife was against any new machine that had more than the main dial, water level, water temp. The sales tech explained that to get the volume for the washer and dryer (5cu ft) with any quality we needed to move up to this model. It seems that when you move to a machine she was looking for, the quality of the total machine was also reduced. Bottom line to go simple with operations you go low on quality. Now: after using this LG product for several washers, loves this LG and says the way the controls are set up makes it very simple.

So far, the best washer I've ever owned. It is the first front-loader I've owned, so that is a new experience for me, although my previous machines were HE washers. Obviously, huge capacity, in fact, my first load was a blanket, figured I would put it to the test right away. Came out cleaner than its ever been is all I can say. Having said that, all of my clothing and bedding comes out perfectly clean. LOVE it! It has every combination of settings imaginable, mix-and-match them to your heart's content; I'm a total-soap-free nut, I love the extra rinse features (even though I already use ZUM laundry soap). I can't speak to the steam features of the washer, I just haven't had a need to use it so far. I assume it works as well as everything else. Self-clean seems to do its job just fine. The Alexa features are neat. Being able to start a load at work and having it finish just as I get home so I can put it right in the dryer is cool and handy. The LG app is handy, I can be anywhere in the house and know right when the load is finished so I can pop it right in the dryer, very convenient. Full flexibility in the app, pretty much set the machine just as you would if you were standing in front of it. My overall opinion of this washer is 5 stars A+. I literally don't have a single complaint about it after a month and a half of use.

We bought this washer to replace a 20 year old model. My wife has made use of several of the available wash cycles and likes the front loading which makes life a little easier. To improve that, we also bought the pedestal. We haven’t used the intelligence features as yet, but will likely get around to it in the future.

Works well, looks good. Very quiet. Good size. Holds a lot of clothes.
