    Causes serious WIFI interference for TV

    This soundbar severely interferes with my wifi network. I have 1Gb/s Fios and the Netflix speedtest on my TV shows over 200Mb/s with the soundbar unplugged. With the sound bar plugged in, it shows between 0 and 7Mb/s. All video apps are constantly buffering and it makes the TV essentially unusable. I think it is because it creates its own 5Ghz wifi network (LG_Speaker_AP). Using a wifi channel mapping app, I see that it is using the same channel as my wifi. The most frustrating thing is that if I change the channel my wifi router uses, the soundbar FOLLOWS it, and puts its network on the SAME CHANNEL. If this isn't fixed before my return window expires, I'll be returning the soundbar.

    Not great for the price, it has its moments but you really have to work for it to get any good sound as the presets are not very dialed in and the subwoofer is lacking. The AI adjustments do not make much of a difference At higher volumes the quality seems to fall apart.

    Disappointing sound quality, even at 50 percent discount. Compared this to Sonos Arc and decided to go with that instead. Even with the wireless subwoofer, LG soundbar cannot compare to Sonos. Spend the extra money if you can and get a Sonos or Bose.

    Not worth the money

    It’s a nice setup when paired with an LG TV, but I have to be honest. For the money I don’t feel like the sound quality is worth it. I have a $100 sound bar with sub on a 65” TV in another room and it sounds just as good as this sound bar does.

    I purchased this with a new lg tv and we can hardly hear it with it all the way up. Our small 2.1 soundbar is way louder

    I personally do not like writing bad reviews- but I’d stay away from purchasing this, had it come in and center speakers blew out in less than 2 days being used at half volume. Very disappointing

    The sound bar will not put out volume, we have bought new cables and did different things recommended by an assocate at Best Buy and stll does not work.

    Subwoofer defective

    The soundbar wasnt bad but their would be random distortion in dialogue like in mad max fury road for example that was really bad. The subwoofer was quite boomy for the short time that it worked but it died on me a few days after receiving it.

    Sounds nothing like in the store. Max volume is at 40 and the wireless sub woofer barely has bass. I’m sad I let my old Bose system go.

    Do not waste your money on these. I bought these rear speakers because I was disappointed in the performance of the SP9YA and thought these rear speakers might satisfy me. I was wrong. Brand new out of the box they wouldn’t power on at all. These are junk! Now I have to box them back up and travel 90 miles to the nearest store to return these and the SP9YA that I am not happy with.

    Poor sound quality

    Not a good sound. No surround sound feel at all. Not a full sound. Sounded like a tin can. My 10 year old Samsung low end speaker bars sounded as good as this one. Was not impressed. i returned it, spent more money and bought the Sony HT-ST5000. Unless you download the app onto your phone or tablet you will have very limited ability to tune/tweak the sound and set up.

    Sucks with PS5 non Atmos content and most dts or PCM audio on any device. Selects wrong channels causing dialog to be way way too quiet in contrast to it's explosively loud wall shaking channels. I am an advanced home audio and video user.

    Subwoofer is not to the quality they write on the box. I bought the updated version and it’s the same shhh ity quality. Don’t waste your money buy another brand because LG 220W soundbar is better sound quality

    Returned after 1 day! Sound quality was terrible. Connected using ARC. My LG OLED tv has better sound itself when not connected to soundbar! I will never buy another soundbar, if you can't get good quality from a $1000 unit.
