Not worth the money, does not last

Great sound quality but with some flaws
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The LG SP9YA soundbar and subwoofer is a pretty good package. It offered really good sound and bass quality to whatever I was watching or playing. The max volume was ok but I felt it should of been able to get louder. The biggest con for my was that the system did not play nice with my Mesh Wi-Fi system. Apparently it uses the same frequencies as my mesh network and cause crazy slow downs. My living room would go from averaging 4-600 mbps down to >160 and in my gaming room where the soundbar was it would drop my average speeds of 3-400 down to >16mbps…. This is a big con especially since it was purchased primarily to enhance my gaming experience. I’ll still give it 4 stars but the product was returned. It was a good product it just didn’t work out for my set up.

Just going with the regular tv for so long, when I put this on I was pretty pleased. Easy to setup and connected perfectly with lg tv. Not too many issues, sometimes it can be difficult to connect with iPhone but overall good. If it came bundled with the SPK8 Rear Speakers it would really be great and honestly if you have a bigger room you'll want those too.

Sound quality and quantity blew me away even without the available extra rear speakers, might add them later. Quick note: to fully utilize it download the LG SoundBar app. It lets you set each speaker level separately along with the subwoofer. The sub produces room shaking sound level in a surprisingly compact easy to place size. Very happy with my purchase.

My 2 reasons for 4 * is 1) wish documentation was more detailed as there are many choices of settings and 2) the remote doesn't work well esp with changing the volume. The second is a real annoyance.
