Great sound and easy to setup. The wireless subwoofer makes this a very easy to setup.

Great sound and bass, seconds to hook up to my lg c1, next level for ps5 cod.

best sound bar I have owned ! first thing you must do is down load the LG sound bar app. there are setting for DTS sound you must turn on that are in the app only other wise the sound will be tiny. once these setting are on, any bluray or 4k movie will give the best sound with DTS sound. dolby atmos & dts:x sound great! also have the rear speakers also that complete the sound bar.

LG SP9YA is great for mixed usage. It's very neutral, balanced sound profile suitable for listening to lots of different types of audio. You can customize almost everything, including bass and treble adjustments to go along with other EQ presets and settings. It supports every audio format over HDMI ARC and HDMI ports, including Atmos and DTS-X. It has a great soundstage and five distinct channels where you can hear clear channel separation on the soundbar. Since there are five channels you need to worry about it down-mixing 5.1 content to stereo. However, it's not very immersive. I'm aware it would help to add the rear surround speakers but the soundbar alone does not produce a believable surround experience.

Sounds great !!! but Sub woofer was having some issues . The sound was coming in and out Besides that ,this system sounds incredible

The sound from this is amazing for the footprint it takes up. Even better as an open box buy over 60% off retail. Atmos soundtracks bring out more realistic soinds and directions. Expandable with separate rear peakers to make it a 7.1.2 system if desired. Upgraded from an older LG SH3K soundbar and the difference is huge.

Good rear speaker for lg soundbar.easy setup, almost nothing needs to be done except wiring speaker to the receiver, but that's it. Lg soundbar will automaticall find it. Speaking of the value, it is a bit pricy but maybe the only option to expand your lg soundbar

So I got this to replace my aging surround sound from almost 10 years ago. Set up seems simple but need an app for calibration and to reset the firmware if it starts working weird. Thought it would work seamlessly with my lg 55in cx but it doesn’t. Some research is making me lean towards the tv might actually be the issue. The sub does not put out a lot of bass. I was used to having rear surround speakers and immediately regretted not having them and brought the $200 upgrade. Which help but don’t seem to work correctly unless the sound bar detects the correct audio codec. Overall when turned way up it sounds good but for great surround you need the upgrade and the bass is weak.

the sound is amazing, I gave up my Denon receiver and speakers because the sound is so crisp from this. The bass isn't as loud as my previous Klipsch 12" powered sub but it's still good. I have a samsung TV with an fire tv cube and it's all integrated with the cube, so one remote for all of it! love the system

great soundbar for the price. this thing is great to hear when it come to movies. the i do recommend though to by the separate rear speakers if you truly want a surround sound experience including with dolby atmos.

The soundbar offers great sound quality, excellent visual 4k passthrough and size fits better in a wall mount. The sound can get pretty loud with out distortion packed with a subwoofer giving lows with dramatic bass to the max. Watching Movies or hearing music has never been greatly immersive and fun like this before.

Very good sound, but bass unit not as strong as other reviewers have mentioned. Good enough for my purposes. Solid construction and very attractive styling. Easy setup and works perfectly with my LG C1 OLED.

Great sound and clarity. Also controlled by a smart App that offers a good amount of features. Only negative would be the design. It’s wide so sitting in front if the tv looks a bit odd

I like this soundbar but you have to spend a lot of time messing with the settings to get it to do what you want. The initial setup was quick and easy but it took several hours of messing with settings before I could get the sound where I wanted it to be. I had a lot of issues with it backgrounding voices when other sounds were playing or it being too quiet depending on the mode it’s in. Overall it’s a decent product but I probably wouldn’t liked it if I hadn’t gotten a deal on it. I think $1000 is too much to ask for this soundbar. It also doesn’t work as nicely with LG tv’s as you think it would being an LG product. Given the chance again I probably would have bought one from a different manufacturer.
