I thought using the original HDMI cable that came with this soundbar would give great results/sound quality, but was I wrong. I was about to return this soundbar due to poor sound quality for another brand. Luckily, I spoke to an LG person at Bestbuy who told me to upgrade my HDMI cable for a better one because the one that comes with this soundbar is cheaply made. I'm so glad I took his advice because my soundbar sounds amazing and loud. FYI, its connected to a LG Oled TV.

Incredible and crisp sounds. Very deep bass. For a small to medium sized home theater room, the sound will fill the space easily, especially with the surround speakers.

Great sounding sound bar/sub. Coupled with separately purchased rear speaker set. All pairing between bar/subwoofer and rear set seamless. I've had for a year now, no cut outs. Rear set available does not include rear ceiling facing speakers - height effects good not great. But sound for movies through ear is great still. I recall some frustration around trying to link to wifi/app - I ended up not using app. Do not need app for detailed adjustments (preset sound modes, bass/surround levels etc). E-arc with Samsung s95b tv works perfectly - sounbar turns on with tv remote on, functions well across all inputs when switching between streaming apps and gaming consoles and antenna.

Great Sounding Dolby Atmos Soundbar with Wireless Sub, my only advice, this soundbar is now discontinued so look to the newer model with updated Atmos Surround.

I like this soundbar alot. All the features and sound is amazinf and with the lg wowcast no more wires. Good price with options to upgrade the rear speakers. Money will spend.

Read many reviews on this unit and they were mixed. Had only the short demo at the store and decided it was worth the chance. I have to say the negative reviews I saw were dispelled. The sound is immersive and clear. Streamed a movie in IMAX as it said this soundbar supported it. I have seen many at the theater and must say that is the only place it sounded better. This soundbar exceeds all that it is advertised it can do. Only difference is I can now enjoy things at home I was only able to at a theater in the past. And to top it off got it on sale and have to have I would have gladly paid full price for this at home experience. If you want to your sound sensation this is the way to go.

First was having trouble staying connected to the internet but after adding it to Google home it has stayed connected. It sounds very good especially after adding the rear speakers to the system.

Easy setup. Great sound! Excellent value. I bought this the same time I bought an LG television. No regrets!

Purchased this and it is very nice and load. The subwoofer hits pretty good for no amplifier. Connects to Bluetooth or tv with just a hdmi connection.

Overall excellent. If you can get it under $480 get it. Price match is your friend. Box is big and heavy - won't fit in most cars. Performance is excellent, especially using ARC and setting the theme to the content being shown (e.g. cinema, sports, etc) - I default to AI mode when not using the other two mentioned. There are several other to play with. You can't fine tune it though - can't create your own themes nor is there an equalizer or any other sound settings to tweak.

Amazing sound quality, especially when playing something that supports Dolby Atmos. The app works great and is easy to set up!

Sound design and aesthetics are usually the last priorities for TV manufacturers. It's a shame because you have to leave room in your budget for a quality upgrade to improve the sound, an integral component of any cinematic experience. Enter this bad boy, the quintessential enhancement for any televisions' audio output. I know, I know, $1,200 is steep for a sound bar. I live in an apartment, so this was the highest quality upgrade I could make without actual surround sound, which was unfeasible, and as it turns out, unnecessary. With the upfiring speakers in the bar, and the bass from both ends, you'll never need to purchase another sound bar again for the rest of your life. You're welcome!

The sound system feels really immersive in my space which is the type of sound bar I was looking for. My space for my living area is around 200 sq ft with high ceilings and surprisingly the sounds come in very clear and the surrounding sound is very specific to the area on the tv when the sound is coming from. I’m not sure how it would do in a large space but from what research I’ve done, there are rear speakers that make it more immersive.

Great product, the subwoofer is so good that it even shakes my sofa which makes watching a movie a blast, really gets you into it

Purchased this while it was on sale. It’s a phenomenal soundbar and the sale made it even better. I was debating on splurging on the Sonos Arc + Sonos sub but I purchased this for a 1/3 of the price and couldn’t justify the cost. The sub is huge though and it’s nothing terribly special. The ARC pass through the speaker to the TV is very neat but it doesn’t support 4k at 120hz which is a bummer. I want to use the feature for my Xbox Series X but you’ll be hindering the consoles potential. Overall a great sound system.

So my advise is don't get a soundbar unless you want to ruin your ears for all other non-soundbar setups. Once you hear it you can't go back and this one is a really good one. I tried others and thought ok it is slightly better but this really got me hooked.

My surround sound system is the best ever. My system hit like a movie theater I LOVE IT!!!
