Good Machine, Bad Installation Experience

Does an excellent job of cleaning, and the app is handy for receiving notifications when loads are finished. I only have two gripes with the machine itself. One is that many of the cycles are only available through the app. The other is that the door and soap reservoir feel kind of flimsy, and I'm concerned about future breakage. We'll see though.
Ask me about the delivery process from Best Buy though. Absolutely horrible. Delays, broken website with misleading information, an installation contractor with a vehicle not large enough to haul away both the old washer and dryer at the same time (which required a separate visit, and a bunch of bad communication), and worst of all, the machine was dented either during shipping or installation (I don't know which). Best buy made restitution with a paltry amount.
To be honest, I'll never buy another major appliance through Best Buy that I can't transport and install myself.

It cleans my clothes spotless, works quietly, has high capacity for clothes, and I have to repeat that it cleans the clothes spotless (some of my old clothes look like new after I used this).

Well I love anything LG and after getting my first front load LG washer I couldn’t be happier. Is big on point, clothes are perfectly clean and fresh. Too bad I didn’t get a pedestal. Wished I bought the dryer , but I didn’t. Love my new LG it clean a big load and leaves it very clean. I recommend this washer to anyone.

Can you be in love with an appliance which doesn’t require batteries. I’m head over heels in love with this washing machine and here’s why.
It’s huge and a beast in cleaning power. I can wash a king medium weight comforter and a large towel in a single load and they come out clean. Or I can clean a few delicate pieces, which ought to have gone to the dry cleaners and they too come out wonderfully intact and clean. Which lends itself to the variety of cycles this machine has as another plus.
If saving energy is your fancy, then you’ll be happy to know this machine is energy efficient and cost little to run. By way of reference we are a retired couple with 3 medium sized dogs and 2 oversized cats. I wash at least 2 times a week to keep bedding fresh and keep down the smell and dirt which accompanies the 20 extra legs in the house. Our electric bill:water has gone up a few bucks.
I trust this washer would work well for any size family. Just be aware that a pedestal will be needed at some point to gather the linens from the back of the drum otherwise your back will pay for it. The drum is that deep.
We eventually purchased the dryer to match and are equally thrilled.

I love it. Except 1x thing.... It does not have a rinse cycle. Its not a deal breaker but after looking at some many washers I missed this one thing but I'd prob still got it. Its prob the best option out there at that moment. Whirlpool being chinese owned was a definite deal breaker. The only thing I dont like is the pedestals. I am assuming that they manufacture and model specific. They are also expensive. These things already cost over $1000, then to charge 300 pr 400 for basically a shelf to sit it on is stupid. I opted to have something built that I can use with anything. This is why I took off 1x star. I hate being nickel and dimed for every little thing.

Overall this is an excellent washer with a significant BUT for some customers... It must be wiped down, including the leftover water from the door frame plastic border. Also, within the first four weeks, the drum started making a loud banging noise during the regular and fast wash cycle with small loads. Surprisingly this went away on its own. Other than that, it does a great job, and the app works very well.

It’s highly recommended. I understand the price is high, but it’s better to save and invest in these wonderful laundry machines — they come with a 10-year warranty and their quality and performance are truly outstanding.

THIS. Do yourself a favor and invest in an LG front load washing machine. We bought a Whirlpool top load before this one and it made so much noise with the constant back and forth motion the drum made to move the clothing around since there was no agitator. It was nice and Whirlpool is a good brand but LG blows them out of the water, no pun intended.
Not only is the LG great at washing clothes, it's also fun to use and to watch. It's incredibly spacious and washing king size bedding, down comforter included, is no problem. The Whirlpool always went unbalanced and then you'd have to have the strength of 10 men to try and lift the soaked bedding around so that it balanced itself. Not with LG front load. Like commercial washers, the tumbling action keeps everything evenly distributed and the friction of rubbing over and over one another gets the clothes incredibly clean! It's also so much quieter than the top load. When it's washing you hardly hear it. The most you hear is the water filling and then the fun chime to let you know it's done.
It's got a great app also that lets you check in on the machine to see how much time is left. It will send you a notification when it is done also in case you forgot you put the wash in or are in another part of the house.
So many great features for this. It's more expensive but so worth it and you won't regret. It's an investment for something you do many times a week, if not day.

Awesome machine, quiet and efficient, we love it. The only downside is the panels are hard to read and see what you are trying to select. The contrast of the lettering is not stark enough and hard to see what you are doing. I need to keep a flashlight nearby. Poor implementation of that, Their dials used to be so easy to read. Installers were fantastic. The manual doesn’t offer much help on using all the features, you would expect that to be the primary mission. So we could be using the wrong feature setting for something we don’t normally do. Also lost the sanitary feature that old one had and now says allergen, don’t think they are the same!
