This 5.2 cu. ft. Top loading washer does an excellent job in cleaning our laundry. Although it is big, it is highly effective in washing the biggest of loads. It is easy to use. Much research on our part was done prior to buying both the dryer and washer.

We bought a new house that came with a washer and drier. The washer that came with the house was older and had an agitator in the middle. It got our clothes clean; but, the clothes would get caught and wrapped around the agitator and start to tear. We read a bunch of reviews and settled in this LG washing machine. It works excellently! It is quiet and half the time we forget that it is running until the tune at the end of the cycle plays. It's nice and deep and can fit two sets of queen sheets in at the same time. We are able to wash two king size blankets at the same time and they come out clean and smelling fresh. We have the drier that came with the house still, but we are thinking we will want the matching drier for this washer.

I love this large washer, it cleans the clothes great, I needed to purchase a grasper to help get small loads out of the botter, I am short, it clean a queen comforter with ease. I like how it only fills just the water which is needed for each load

We purchased this to replace an old LG front loader that shook the entire house. This new washing machine is quiet, efficient, and shake free. We've only had it a month, but so far so good! Capacity is HUGE without overwhelming the dryer capacity.

Nice product very easy to use. Performs well and is stable during spin. So far see clothes are in good condition after the wash. Its lot silent and is compact. Easy to understand the controls even my 80 years old mum can use it.

I research front loaders and top loaders from Lowes, Home Depot and Best Buy. Once I decided not to get a front loader because they had issues with mold, and leaking at the door and if you didn't spend another $400+ for pedestals, you have to sit on the floor to unload the washer. So top loading 'high efficiency' HE was our choice. Lowes didn't have a matching glass door dryer for LG. We decided on LG after I deciding they make the best top loaders, not necessarily the best front loaders, but I had already eliminated those. So Lowes was out. Best Buy had a better price by $80 on the washer. After going to the store, we got another $100 off plus a $100 store credit card. They delivered for free and took away the old W/D for free (we negotiated the $30 fee), they are better than any car dealer, but you have to ask.

I am so tired of front loading washers and their smell. I can put my king size down duvet in this washer and, because it uses more water then top loaders, it comes out magnificently clean.

I love my new washer! Sooo quiet and efficient. Very large capacity--sometimes a long reach to grab clothes at the bottom--I'm 5'3 so do not have a long reach. Clothes come out very clean-stubborn stains included!

This machine handles huge loads. We've had no issues so far. Cleans our clothes thoroughly, quietly, and quickly. Lots of options for wash cycles. Handles our thick, king sized duvet easily.

My wife and I bought our first LG washer and dryer they're the best and quiet machines we have ever owned cleans clothes throughly there is a mode selection for any type of load you need to wash I also love the see through lids on both the washer and dryer so you can see what going on inside and/or see if you have enough water in the tub our old machine you just had to guess and I often felt like my clothes weren't getting as clean as they should.

Excellent product. Easy to learn and use. Very quiet. It is farely new but so far no problems. Wash load is large so a larger load of clothes can be washed.

Only had it for 1 month but outstanding! Massive capacity- literally fitting equivalent of 2+ Loads from our old machine into 1 load. Easy to figure out. Only thing is we do all colors on cold, and the default setting for most cycles is warm, so have to remember to reset to cold wash each time. Still 5 stars. Replaced a 30 years old leaky washer that didn’t always spin, so maybe our bar was set low. Very nice machine, great sale price and free delivery on the washer was nice. Very easy for me to set up.

It's very quiet, easy to use, and cleans great. Not problems thus far. Sometimes the end tone (song) is a little annoying, but nothing I can't get used to.

My wife picked this machine out because it didn’t have a typical agitator. Which is the reason why I didn’t want it. How would it clean? The first time I used the machine, it just took too long and I was not impressed by the results. It took some time and patients. Learning about the settings and accepting the lengthy time, the machine won me over. I like that it uses minimal water and does not abuse the clothes while getting them clean. Does comforters really well also. I am happy with the purchase.

My Teens are truly trying to test the limits of what this thing can hold. Its like a black hole. Still plenty of room. Gets everything clean and no socks have gone missing.....yet. my one grumble is that I am petite so have to use a step stool to reach for small items at the bottom. Otherwise, i love this washer. Laundry day gets done so much faster.

A washer is a washer is a washer, right? It is a bummer when the old one breaks down but when we found this one “the angels sang”. It does everything but fold the clothes and put them away and when they invent one like that I’ll trade this one in for one of those. The operation is pretty intuitive. I love the huge load capacity, and best of all the clothes come out beautifully. There is an option for everything you need. Just can’t think of any downside to this washer. So happy with it.

I love this machine. It cleans well, uses less water than regular top loaders, and has no issues with the load not being balanced or the cycles stopping for similar reasons. I put the load in, come back after the number of minutes the machine said, and the load is done and ready for the dryer. The choice of cycles is rich and I can wash very large loads or a little light garment. It leaves nothing do be desired.

Only problem with this washer is the depth of the tub. I am short and have to have something to grab onto my clothes to get them out or use a step stool. I am not happy with the time it takes for most of the cycles. I located the speed cycle which takes only 31 minutes. However, most cycles take an hour to two hours to finish. It does a good wash. The load is so big I have to dry part of the towels and then dry the other half. You need the larger dryer with this washer. My other washer was 3 cubic feet; wash is 5.3 cubic feet. I did not think it would be this much difference in capacity.

So far so good. Large washing machine and very quiet though each load does take a long time to go through the cycles. Nice that machine figures water quantity used itself.
