Much better than previous own Samsung

We previously had a Samsung that was recalled due to potential of lid exploding off. Had no problems with our original Samsung but felt we needed to replace because of recall. Originally ordered another Samsung but after two machines were delivered with problems, we decided to switch to LG. This model is quiet and doesn't twist clothes in knots. Still too soon to give 5 stars but so far so good.

I particularly like that it automatically determines the amount of water needed for the load size and that I can easily set it for an extra rinse. Also nice to be able to toss in a forgotten item once it starts. The control panel shows how far the wash process has gotten and how much time is left. It handled heavy parkas with ease.
