This range is a simple no frills range, and does not require a PhD to use. Easy to clean, easy to use, and blends in great with the rest of my LG branded appliances.

Kudos: Heavy grates and a center burner make this ideal for my cooking habits. The oven is a great size with a bright light, and temperatures seem accurate. It heats up quickly too. And it's beautiful and easy to clean. Complaints: Setting the timer is a pain. Pushing the button ten times for ten minutes, etc. A numeric pad would be great to solve this problem. My old stove had one power burner in the front right, and one in the back left. I liked having the lower burner in front. This model has both power burners in front. Also, it would be nice to have an alarm if you leave a burner on for a certain amount of time. (I guess I'm sometimes absent minded :O

Not great, but the best of a lot of bad options

We choose this range to replace a 16-year-old basic, builder-grade GE that came with our house. We did not care about convection or self-cleaning features. We wanted a range with a storage drawer and internal broiler and one that did NOT have grates that go completely from side-to-side on the top. We also wanted one that included the grate over the center burner. (We did not care at all about having a center burner, but that seems to be standard these days.) Although we dislike many things about this range, in comparison to the competition in the price range, this one won out simply because it was the best of a lot of bad options. (We paid $699 + tax and got free delivery.) PROS: --The metal the burners themselves were made out of seemed to be of much better quality than any other range we saw. --The drawer was the only one that had actual rollers and seemed like it might hold the weight of our pizza stones and pans without collapsing. (It is still not as solid/sturdy as our old range.) --The grates have the protective "rubber" sort of things attached to them rather than stuck in holes on the top of the range like some others we were considering (cleaning and losing nightmare!--the demo ones at the store came out almost every time you lifted the grates, leaving the holes exposed.) --The surface has a nice indentation to contain spills and no weird grooves or holes to catch grime and grease. --The burner control knobs seemed to be of much sturdier quality than the competition and they are designed so they can't be accidentally bumped and turn the gas on. They also have a satisfying click/pop out feature when turned off CONS: (many of these points applied to all of the competition as well) --The oven racks are INCREDIBLE chintzy. There are only 2 of them and the wires are super far apart with only one cross support and made of very thin/low quality metal. You barely have to push on them for them to flex. Putting our large, oval cast iron dutch oven on one is like a heavy person standing on a trampoline. --The control panel does not feel like it is of good quality--it feels like after a couple of years of pushing on the plastic coating it is going to dent or crack. --The oven temperature controls require arrowing up or down to get to your desired temperature--there are no numbers. It comes on to a default of 350, so those arrows are going to get a heavy workout. I expect them to be the first to show a lot of wear. --The measurements/dimensions are of standard total depth, but when you get it installed, it LOOKS like it is sitting way out from the wall even though it is pushed back as far as it will go. So there is this big gap/space between the back of the control panel area and the wall that looks stupid. It looks like you forgot to push it all the way in. --The oven vent under the control panel has an extra metal piece that seems to be a heat deflector (which may be good given we've read reviews that newer ranges have a problem with the control panel overheating and failing if you use the back burners.) However the ledge created by this piece of metal is going to be next to impossible to clean on top of since the gap is so small and it is going to get grease and grime collected on it. --The top temperature of 500 degrees (which is the same as our old oven) does not get nearly as hot. We don't have a thermometer to test it at the moment, but our homemade pizzas did NOT turn out well. They require the maximum amount of heat possible. --The pattern of the grates is so widely spaced that our smallest little sauce pot must be very carefully placed and not bumped out of place in order to not tip/tilt/spill. If you have one of those tiny stove top espresso makers, forget it. It would fall right through. It is also harder to heat/toast tortillas over the flame because the spaces are so big the edges fall down toward the flame rather than staying level. (However, the pattern and spacing of these grates was better than all of the other options we considered.) --It doesn't come with drip pans that fit down around the burners to make cleanup easier. (Though none of the competition seemed to either.) MIGHT BE A PRO or CON: --When the oven gets up to temperature, a very loud little musical number plays and the oven light flashes on and off. (I like this so I don't forget it's preheating. My kids think it's annoying.) --When you open the oven door the light automatically comes on. I would prefer it didn't, but it's not a big deal. It shows off the the pretty blue color of the interior. :-)

I am still learning how to use my new stove, so far so good. Nice to have an oven that heats evenly, no lopsided cakes! Some of your questions are a bit to early to answer in relation to use and quality. But thank you for asking.

Very easy to clean. To be honest, I grew up with an electric stove, my food tastes better since switching to gas, or at least I and my family members believe that to be true. This was a very good purchase.

I had an LP conversion as well which was kinda the problem because a new team had to come and switch the range to LP..... and the 1st range that was brought the oven didn’t heat up there had to be another delivery day... but the range is great!
