We purchased this washer in March 2023, so it is just over 2 years old. For the first 1 1/2 years, I was very happy with the washer because it was easy to use, had a lot of cycle choices, the finish was good, and laundry came out clean. However, beginning in fall 2024, things went downhill. First, the control panel had to be replaced because the Start button wasn’t working properly. This was repaired under the extended warranty. Second, the machine started leaving black and brown smudges on the washed laundry. LG blamed me for using too much detergent and fabric softener, but I haven’t changed the amount of product I use in years and I never had this problem with two previous HE washers. I have run the Clean Tub cycle about 13 times over the last 6 weeks, but the problem still happens constantly. Geek Squad has replaced the impeller plate and there was no evidence of detergent sludge that LG blames for these smudges. The tech found grease around the drive shaft under the impeller plate, cleaned it up, and put the machine back together. This fixed the problem for less than two weeks. Geek Squad has ordered a new basket (tub?) and it is due to be installed this week. In the meantime, nearly every load of laundry comes out with black smudges and I spend a lot of time scrubbing them out with Goo Gone and Dawn and hoping they will come out clean when I rewash them. At this point, I am very disappointed with this washer and with LG and wish Best Buy would just declare it a lemon and replace it under the extended warranty.

Washer is wonderful, all the bells and whistles. Not sur if i will use every feature. The only reason im giving 4 stars is its so big. I am 5’2” and i have to stand on a stool to get my laundry out. As i cannot reach the bottom. Or my husband has to help me. I wish i would of gotten one size smaller for that reason. It washes bedding great!

We put this washer in a beach house with the primary goal of washing lots of towels and sheets at the same time. It performs better than anticipated. The WIFI features are an added bonus because it pushes notifications to our phones whenever a cycle is done.

Performance - Excellent Quality. Design- The designers could add some LED lights under the to door, and the control panel could be designed a bit better with LED backlight instead off operation indication.

After having this for almost 2 months. I can say it's a great machine. Cleans a lot and beautiful settings. Too load and glass lid so it doesn't spill and you can see what's going on. Delivery guys where awesome!!!

This set is very nice looking. It is large capacity and washes even better than the previous model I had. I would recommend this set on looks and performance. It is more costly than others but wull worth it in operation and performance.

Still learning how to use all of the setting My wash comes out very clean. The spin cycle is extremely strong, which I now have to sort my clothes and wash on different cycles. However, the machine works very well

This is one of the best fridge you can buy. It saves water, electricity, less maintenance and very quiet too. The Wi-Fi app was very useful and easy to use. It also has steam wash too.

One month old…no problems. Great size for bedding and large loads. Like the speed wash as well. Deep tub can be a problem for us shorties…. Love the black steel color! Hopefully it’s life is as maintenance free as my Samsung front loader (11 years)!

This washer is a fantastic match to the dryer. The features are exactly what folks need. Very easy to use

This thing is truly massive. We have young kids in sports and our old one never stopped so this thing has reduced the workload drastically. Very pleased thus far.

I love this new washer! It’s quick and can do my bedding. You don’t need to use the short wash as the normal cycle adjusts itself and ads or reduces the time needed.

This is so far the best washer I have ever bought so far work very well and do the job very good you don’t need any other brand just get this

We replaced a LG front load washer we had from 2008 that was still working but we wanted more capacity and to move away from the crud that builds up on the door seal. The open middle with no agitator give us more capacity to wash bigger loads and the balance mechanism measures the weight of the load to not use too much water or time. Excellent for a family with two small children and a lot of weekend loads to wash.

Amazing. Many features. Looks great and it works great. Very large capacity to the point of needing a reach tool for that last sock at the bottom.

I switched to a top loader because the front loader was full of mildew and had a bad odor. I cleaned regularly and left the door open.

Beautiful washer and works really well. It does not have an agitator in rhe middle which I love as can put my large bedding with no issue. Rhe machine washes clorhes very well.

Replaced older GE washer. Has many cycles. Always had washer with agitator but I like the impeller. Uses less water. Also able to control from app. Love my new LG washer

Very pleased with this watcher. Easier to maintain cleaning. Very deep where a bedspread fits nicely. My old LG used to vibrate my pipes and this one is very quiet.
