Hopes to save someone else the time and expense. If you are conserving changing from front to top loader … don’t! Here is why … at least with this particular model. 1. It doesn’t clean the clothes - I kept finding deodorant residue on my clothes, regardless what wash cycle I used. 2. It spins at the same speed no matter what cycle - the clothes come out wrinkled (even on delicate setting). 3. There was always soap residue on the clothes regardless what brand detergent or how much I used. Darker clothes ALWAYS showed soap residue 4. Most cycles take an unreasonable long time and the clothes are still not clean.

Terrible experience with Best Buy delivery service

I have not yet received my item. Scheduled delivery was today, September 4, 2024. Best Buy committed to call the day prior to appointment and provide a 4 hour estimated pick up window. They did not call, text, email, or send any notification. This required an adult to be present all day. I checked the online delivery tracking feature at 11:15 AM. This feature showed my delivery driver, Jose, with an estimated arrival of 12:16 AM. Driver did not show, did not call. I received no email notice, no text message, no contact whatsoever. At the end of the day, I checked the order, and it showed that Best Buy canceled the delivery without informing me. I called customer service, waited on hold for 30 minutes. The call center representative was kind, but had no additional information. He was not empowered to expedite delivery, and could only offer me the first available, which is in 10 days. He had no means to connect me with anybody that could provide explanation, or service recovery action. Astoundingly poor customer service experience thus far. Will update with the product review, if the product is ever received.

Unfortunately, I think this particular model is a lemon. We have had the exact same issue happen three times, each about a year apart. The entire control board has to be replaced.

Power issues

Then tried to move around the unit which solve the issue - seems like power cable behind the unit is probably loose.

LG Washer - avoid

Wouldn’t recommend

We could tell right away that clothes weren’t washing as good and even though we’ve never done this before, we asked for a return. Five stars to Best Buy on their return process, but would definitely not recommend this product. We went back to a new Electrolux and much happier and cleaner clothes. I had read reviews that it was also hard getting clothes out of the tub and that’s true - I’m 5’7 and was hard for me too.

Installed wrong by Best Buy

DO NOT BUY LG
