Whatever is on top will still be there at the end of the cycle. I owned a “high efficiency” washer before this one. GE Harmony bought in 2006 I know how they operate with limited amounts of water. My clothes always came clean with my old washer until the computer board went recently. Now with this new washer my clothes are coming out stinky and some still have spots that I knew were there like when I put the shirt in to be washed (a test so to speak)… FAILED! My husband and I stood there watching our new washer operate when it first arrived… I was over-the-top excited for it to arrive. We watched for FORTY minutes waiting to see the so called “turbo wash” kick in… NEVER HAPPENED.! The clothes barely moved. I couldn’t believe it. So disgusted. I figured, “ok maybe a learning curve with this new washer”. Two weeks later… we called today and told them to take it back. Best thing about all this is they didn’t give us a hard time about it. I’m now looking at the front load LG washers that seem to get 5 stars. Hopefully this goes better. I figure the clothes have to move with that design. Sorry folks. I wanted to love this washer… I did. But it was a HUGE disappointment. Good luck!

On the third use the wires inside caught fire and started to smoke. Had it been left on, it would have caught fire to the house. I had a replacement sent and before I could even use it the electrical system glitched and would not turn off without being unplugged. It’s going back too! Do not recommend!

Broken washer

The washer has a label on it that states a 10 year warranty which is false advertisement. I called LG and then wanted a $360 deposit just to come look at it. I baught this washer priced at 1,200 and now its listed for 700. It’s definitely not worth paying for repairs that are over 700. It was great while it lasted and suddenly went out. Don’t waste your money!!!!!!!

Destroys Clothing

It was highly rated on Best Buy and also the top rated according to Consumer Reports. From the time we bought it, it has been destroying clothes. We already had LG come out once and they replaced the entire drum but it’s still ruining clothes. Never seen anything like it. Addding to the frustration is that the only semi-negative comments we could find prior to purchasing it was that “it wasn’t very gentle Iand could be hard on clothes.” Can’t find those reviews anymore and “not very gentle” is an understatement. It has destroyed more than a dozen items of clothing so far.

The people installing were extremely rude and were rough handling my other appliances (dryer) that were nearby. When I started taking a photo of how they were handling thing for my own insurance purposes, he absolutely lost it and just walked out. And when contacted Best Buy, they said that I should get an email from a resolution team and 1 month later, still no email and I can’t even talk to anyone
