This is our 2nd LG Washer, it is a great product! We had the next level up from this one before, but didn't need all the bells & whistles, so got this one.

I was surprised how quite the washer was didn’t even know it was running let alone spinning. The only issues is it has uneven balance issues often when washing bedding but otherwise ok

The LG washer and dryer set is perfect for our family, the graphite steel looks great, the pair work perfectly and the energy efficiency saves us money. We also got a nice rebate from our electric company. It took awhile to get used to the many features, the downloadable manual from LG's website has been a lifesaver. The washer is deeper than our old one, for shorter folks simply spin the drum towards you to reach the clothes towards the back when the wash cycle is complete. The cycle completion melody is a nice touch, it sure beats the truck horn sound of our old Maytag. We've had our set about a month and so far, so good. I definitely recommend this washing machine.

    Replacement washer

I love the look and digital controls (it even notifies me on my phone when the load is complete). One thing that I'm having trouble adjusting too is that these new "high efficiency" machines use their own internal programming to determine how much water should be added to a load and it seems to me that the water is always insufficient. There is an "add water" feature but I do prefer just having a water level selector like my old washer. Another gripe is when washing bedding, if you add anything in with lets say a comforter, when it gets to the spin cycle it causes alot of "uneven load" errors and the washer will stop and make you rebalance the load and try again, very annoying. Otherwise, I like the machine and seems to be working good, hopefully it will hold up to the test of time.

This washer is huge, and I love that it does not have an agitator to get in the way! The graphite steel looks great, but it does show dust and scratch easier than a traditional white appliance. I am 5'6' and have no trouble reaching all items in the tub after washing. I have not downloaded any of the extra cycles, and have been please with the options already on it. I have a cabinet on the wall above the washer that is too low to allow the washer lid to open fully, and thought we'd have to move it up after we moved the washer closer to the back wall. But the lid does stay up, and it opens enough to easily get clothes in and out, and to load detergent. I've had it about a month, and am very pleased with it.

This is my second LG washer top load. Its cleans and works great just like the first one we purchased years ago. I reseached all reviews and sales reps and this replacement new washer is the best top load!

Well designed and full featured. Set it and it does the rest. Huge capacity, now do half as many washes. We have a front load machine at another location and much prefer this top load unit.

Good capacity. Somewhat complicated for me. I wish it remembered previously used settings. Everytime I have to select light soul level, cold water, and medium soon speed.

This review is for my moms. I have had no problems with my washer, I purchased the exact same one for my mom 6 months later & it was a lemon. Luckily the LG warranty hadn’t expired & I was able to get them to come out & replace some chip board in the control panel. Thank goodness I know how to search the internet my elderly mother doesn’t. The included manual doesn’t explain how to contact LG for the warranty. I had to do it online & I had to go through like 4 appointments. I was lucky mine has been great.

Looks great and washes great. After a bad time with a front load washer that got a stinky gasket I am happy to have a top load! Tons of room. So far so good.

So happy with this washer, can’t say enough about how much room there is in the tub. Washing all the bedding just got so much easier. And the finish works well with my other stainless appliances.

I bought this washer after reviewing lots of makes and styles online and checking reviews. I am really disappointed in LG for this and the dryer I got to go with it. I wanted the extra large tub so I could wash queen-sized bedding. It is very loud and clunky sounding when it runs and sounds like it is falling apart. You cannot put your clothes in as displayed online on 'how to load LG washer'. You have to place your items AROUND the low-lying agitator at the bottom. If you don't, your items that are in the middle stay in the middle. Sometimes they aren't even damp when the load finishes - it's like they never got washed to begin with. I had the same problem with my last washer (GE) and I hated it. So you have to be careful when you put your laundry in to only have it around the outside portion and NOT as displayed online. I have no problem with the controls or control panels - it is nice and works well and so does the soap/fabric softner dispenser.
