Works correctly-Installed easily - installer had no problem connecting it! Love this LG Dryer, much larger drum than in my old Maytag dryer. lots of setting to chose from, and makes great musical tune when dryer finishes. Also sent a notice to me Samsung Cell phone, when finished with a load.

Bought this LG washer to replace an older Samsung that was leaving black residue all over our clothes. We've had it for 3 weeks and it's working great so far. It's a little loud at times, but if you've got it in a garage or separate laundry room, it's not a problem. The delivery service was quick and easy. You have to download a separate manual to learn the details about all the various laundry settings. For the price, we're hoping this thing lasts many more years!

Love this machine only downside is the tub is so big if you are short it is hard to reach down inside the huge tub to get socks, etc. Other than that it has so many options and the color is beautiful.

We love our new washer so many cool functions and it’s a great size for big loads.

Purchase this washer and dryer on the recommendation of Consumer Reports. After using (4) four times got a error code OE. (Stating the drain tube is blocked) The tub is full water and had to pull all the items out of the tub... unfortunately it was all wet heavy towels. Went to local laundromat to finish washing the towels. Called LG service and they will be out in 4 days to look at the problem. I know issues pop up once in awhile with appliances... Hoping this is one time issue and will be back up and running and using these machines for years to come without issue.

Purchased this washer in Dec. 2019 and on 3/25/21 it just went silent, no power on, no lights on screen, no sounds, nothing. Called BB for service and tech found the wire to the door lock had fallen around the barrel and worn through all the way down to the wiring, shorting out the main electronics bank. After 10 day wait to get here to diagnose, now we have to order parts and its going to be another week or two to get it repaired, at our cost upwards of $500. Definitely get the extended warranty on these washers, they may not last.

This washer is easy to use and washes great. It holds a lot of laundry. I am short and it is a bit tall and deep. The delivery from Best Buy was on time and a friendly guy took our old washer and installed this one.

Love my new washer. First one arrived damaged but Best Buy replaced it within a couple weeks.

This unit stopped working a few minths after warranty. Do NOT buy.

The worst type of washing machine, I have bought it more expensive than others, but to no avail. It only looks and does not clean dirty clothes. We have tried everything from washing powders, the same thing is the problem with the washing machine. My advice to everyone is not to buy it

After many years of trying to get my very expensive deluxe front loader to stop stinking we decided to replace it with a LG top loader. I’ve waited about a month before doing my review because I wanted to make sure that this top loader didn’t have the same problem. I am happy to say so far there is no smell associated with the washer and no visible mold anywhere. I was also worried that the top loaders didn’t clean as well but so far that has not been the case. The clothes have come out clean and we have not noticed any additional wear on the clothes due to the washing process. Because of the way a top loader spins I was concerned that this washing machine would be loud and unstable but all that proved wrong. This washer is as quiet if not quieter than my front loader and my front loader was more prone to wobble and walk than this washer. The tub on the washer is quite large and it handles as much if not more than what my front loader was capable of washing. Because there is no agitator its easy to load and unload clothes. The control panel and options are very intuitive and easy to operate. This model has enough pre-configured cycles and manual options to meet all of our needs. The lid lifts straight back when open and gives full access to the front of the washer which is important if your dryer is right next to it. The only complaint I have with this washer, and it’s a small complaint, is that the detergent dispenser is a pull out drawer directly below the hinges of the lid. First off I am not a fan of drawers after having my front loader’s drawer become a moldy mess. Secondly to pour detergent into the drawer means that the lid has to be fully open otherwise it makes the process more difficult. So far we love this washer and we are very happy that we got rid of the front loader.

Great washer. QUIET, does large loads & uses way less water than my old washer. Doesn't fill whole tub, it fills part way & then pulls clothes through the water. Wasn't sure if I'd like that when salesman told me that, but after using it gets stuff very clean. Also seems gentler on my clothes (i.e. sweaters that tend to pill, lace items). Lots of settings like sanitize, speed wash cycle, steam, deep wash, heavy duty. Settings for bedding, towels, waterproof stuff, whites, delicates & a prewash. You can remote start & save settings with an app. Haven't tried that yet, but overall very pleased. There's also setting to clean washer tub once a month or so with Affresh cleaner tabs.

I love my new washing maching very easy to operate and yr clothes come out super clean couldnt of picked a better washer machine and its bog enough to wash my bed comforter no more laundry matt for that and its very quit

I love this washing machine! The capacity is just huge! Very simple and straightforward to use. It’s very quiet and does a great job cleaning.

Switched from front loader to top loader hoping to save my back. The tub is reeeeaally deep so it can be hard to reach the bottom but it holds a ton of stuff. It takes a little getting used to to figure out how to get your clothes clean using the right cycle. Some cycles use a lot of water and some don't. I had to run it twice at the beginning because things weren't getting clean. There was a lot of experimenting and the directions aren't super helpful. Now that Ive got the hang of it, I like it.

The washer does a good job of washing clothes. It weighs the load prior to adding water and updates the wash time. We have not yet used the 'smart phone' interface. It is relatively quiet when compared with our previous washers. The detergent and softener are added using a pull out tray and the bleach has its own location on the front left (as you face the washer). Our previous washer had the detergent loaded in that location so we need to be retrained from time to time. Presently, we used this machine less than a month so we're unable to address the reliability of the washer. Whether or not the washer was worth the cost will become apparent over time. We did do some research prior to purchase and most of the ratings for the LG line of washers were a little higher than other brands.

The LG Washer works all. Easy to operate, quiet and cleans laundry well. Many options to address cleansing needs. It has a large and deep tub.

The LG 5.5 cubic foot high efficiency washer performs very well. The capacity is more than we expected. The use of the impeller, rather than the agitator, frees up space. We can wash large loads, even queen sized bed spreads, with ease. The clothes come out clean even with reduced water usage. The LG washer sends alerts to our phones when it is done. We have found this feature more helpful than we expected. It is quiet, efficient, and effective.
