I have owned this washing machine for almost 2 years(I don't know why the review shows I purchased it in 2020 when I purchase it in 2019) and I absolutely hate it. It never seems to use enough water and my shirts still have deodorant marks on the armpits or dirt stains. I think the big reason I dislike it is the fact that it doesn't have an agitator that extends up into the washbasin so the clothes at the top, stay at the top. So when it doesn't use enough water, those items of clothing are still dry. I am also having issues with the auto-sensing lock function now that is an $85 part to replace... after only 2 years of light use since I am a single guy that lives alone. If I didn't pay $850 for this washer 2 years ago, I would kick it to the curb in a heartbeat!

This review is more about the installation than the product. This far the product has been great. I am very happy with it. The delivery and installation was a complete disaster. The delivery people ( a 3rd party contractor) didn't secure the water line drain hose in the sanitary tub. When the installers ran a test wash after installing it, it flooded my laundry room. At the time I was working form home up stairs. Instead of telling me the situation, they went and found a mop and bucket from my garage and tried to clean it up. I came down during this process and they admitted what had happened. The delivery was during the COVID-19 peak, and I was assured by Best Buy this would be a covid sensitive delivery. Instead, I had delivery men going through my cleaning stuff, touching my house hold cleaning products, mop, bucket, towels, etc to try and clean up something without telling me. They did an average job at cleaning it up, I had a musty smell in my laundry room. My laundry room is on the main floor of my house, after they left, I found the basement was also flooded with the water. The LG product is great, but for anyone considering Best Buy for delivery or installation, look elsewhere. I'd like to point out I am a Best Buy Elite member (for each of the last 4 years) and purchase a lot from them every year. It pains me to say it, but look elsewhere when buying appliances.

I have only used it twice but I am liking it so far.

I had a LG Washer before this one & it was perfect! It was quiet unlike this one. It’s too noisy!!! I got rid of the other one because it was leaking after about 10 years so no big deal but just the other day this one leaked and I got to call to see why it is leaking. I stuck with LG because of the one I had before but now I wish I had switched to Maytag. Also I see this one is going to be my like my older and rust in the area where the Clorox goes. Bad choice this time & wish I could get rid of it. Also I thought this one would light up but it does not.

The washer was delivered and installed on Saturday 5/30/2020. The installers ran through a cycle without any load and it went fine. Today, as i was trying to put my first small load (1/4 tub full clothes), it started making weird loud noises. Called and talked to GeekSquad. Made them listen to that loud noise and they said it needs to be replaced as the product installed has an issue with the motor or some component. The GeekSquad agent transferred me to Appliance specialist for a return/exchange. The specialist was first not able to pull my order which is hard for me to believe. When i gave him the order number, he stated that he will transfer me to the return/exchange team. I may have had a lemon product however the first impression has not been good. I only called Best Buy since it was within a return policy. I'll update this Review when i can and if there is a resolution. So far bad experience, bad product.

I bought this washer Jan 10, 2022. It is not what I expected based on the price and positive reviews. The normal cycle doesn't have enough water to get the laundry completely wet. The deep wash cycle barely moves the laundry. I have to use the heavy duty cycle to get enough water to wet & wash the laundry. Also, there's a noise that sounds like something metal is loose inside. I'll be contacting Best Buy for service. I don't believe it's operator error.

I am 5’9” and It’s a real stretch to get to the bottom of the Washer. If you are vertically challenged, this may not be the best washer for you !

I’m not happy with how loud it is and that there’s no light inside.

Big capacity for my family needs. Noisy washer compared to my old one. Sound like metal are grinding while using. Don’t know if its normal or something wrong with it.
